Excellent Bluetooth Receiver
I got the Auris Blume Pro from Amazon yesterday. It works flawlessly and its built quality is excellent. I streamed from my OnePlus 7T smartphone which supports LDAC code and connected it through optical out to my Audiolab 6000A amplifier and it sounds wonderful. Very good imaging, wide soundstage, excellent instrument separation and airy details. Audio through the analog RCA is also very good. I also own the well known iFi Zen Blue V2 Bluetooth Receiver which costs bit higher than Auris and sound wise I cold not make any difference between the two. When playing through LDAC code, it is even comparable with my WiiM Mini WiFi based music streamer in terms of sound quality.

Sound quality and easy to connect with old hi fi systems
Excellent. Iam able to connect easily with my old onkyo receiver. Sound quality is very good. It brought life to my old AV receiver, which i was not able to use for many years now.Other good ones like Bose Adapter is not available anymore, howver this is as equivalent of a bose adapter.

Almost perfect | Excellent quality; but not really value for money
A Bluetooth receiver that supports both aptX HD and LDAC for Hi-Res music streaming is a great way to breathe new life into vintage stereo gear that many of us have painstakingly put together over the years - and towards that purpose, the Auris bluMe Pro is an excellent addition to any existing HiFi system. The build quality is excellent (although there appear to be quality control issues in some batches) and the discrete LED panel at the front that displays both input bit-size/sampling frequency and the track names is a very nice touch. The range of the Bluetooth antenna is good, and I've experienced no connectivity issues in a 20 x 16 ft. living room. The specs of the embedded hardware (Qualcomm CSR8675 Bluetooth chip + Sabre ES9028Q2M DAC chip + Cirrus Logic CS8406 DC chip) are on par with the hardware used by most reputed DAC/BTR manufacturers; so the unit is very well equipped on that front. Support for Sony's LDAC Bluetooth codec and an additional S/PDIF (Coaxial) output is what differentiates the blueMe Pro from it's younger brother - the bluMe HD - and whether it's worth the extra INR 3K premium will depend on how important LDAC support is for you.I am using this with a decade-old Yamaha R-S300 stereo receiver, and when I streamed 16-bit/44.1KHz WAV and 24-bit/96KHz FLAC music files from my phone over LDAC; the detail retrieval and sound quality was almost as good as what I was getting from my decade-old Yamaha CD-C600 CD player - with a noticeable tightening of the bass, and extension of the highs. This sense of "tightening" could be on account of the Sabre DAC which is known to be brighter and more analytical/neutral than the warm-sounding Burr-Brown DACs that Yamaha uses in their gear.Streaming 256Kbps AAC music from YouTube Music Premium over aptX HD also delivered very good results, delivering "near-CD-like" sound quality, although it's unfair to compare the standard 256Kbps bitrate of AAC available from YouTube Music to the 1,441Kbps bitrate of CDs.Streaming 24-bit/48KHz Lossless (ALAC) music from Apple Music over LDAC delivered even better results, with the SQ coming closer to that from my CD player. It's a must have for all Apple Music subscribers in India (if streaming Lossless music over Bluetooth) as the 990 Kbps bitrate support of LDAC is the closest that one can come to the 1,411 Kbps bitrate of CD-quality Hi-Res music available from Apple Music.Of course, this was with the Apple Music app on an Android device, as iOS unfortunately still doesn't support aptX HD or LDAC for Bluetooth transmission/reception. As of today, neither of these devices make sense to iPhone users as iOS only supports SBC and AAC Bluetooth codecs today. However, if your streaming is restricted to Amazon Music, YouTube Music, or Spotify in India - all three of whom only support 256/320 Kbps streaming quality in India - then as of today, the bluMe Pro is probably an overkill. For those needs, the little brother (bluMe HD) will suffice, which supports aptX HD @ 576 Kbps.NOTE:When streaming from an Android device, Android picks up the aptX HD codec automatically when paired with any device supporting Qualcomm's aptX HD; but to use LDAC, one has to select the LDAC codec manually by going into Developer Options in Settings. On the whole, it does a very good job of "modernizing" and extending the life of our vintage stereo gear by bringing in Hi-Res music streaming capabilities over Bluetooth; the support for aptX HD and LDAC codec delivering a stark improvement in SQ over the limited capabilities of the lossy codecs like SBC and AAC that most consumer Bluetooth devices come built-in with. However, there are a few cons that hold me back from giving this product a 5-star rating.First, the lack of any Digital S/PDIF (Optical, Coaxial) inputs. You are restricted to connecting only via Bluetooth (LDAC going up to 990 Kbps max), which is still below the bitrate of CDs that have a bitrate of 1,411Kbps. As a result, it is impossible to use this as an external DAC with other external devices like an old CD player to bypass the ageing, built-in DAC.In that regard, a product like the FiiO BTA30 Pro is a much more well-rounded product than the bluMe Pro; as it gives a valuable S/PDIF Digital (Optical) input in addition to all the Inputs/Outputs that the bluMe Pro has - allowing one to use it as an external DAC too, to bypass the DAC of the CD player.Second, despite the above mentioned limitation, at INR 13K ($169), the product is overpriced. To put things in context, excellent entry-level DACs like the Topping E30 or the Schiit Modi 3+ (with excellent AKM DAC/DC chips) cost only between INR 11-12K in India, so if you don't intend to stream via Bluetooth, one is better served by one of those devices that offer far more input/output flexibility for the price as a dedicated DAC.What erodes the VFM proposition further is the fact that the equally equipped, very competent FiiO BTA30 Pro sells for only INR 10K ($119) in India today - delivering equally good sound using the same combination of Qualcomm + Sabre + Cirrus Logic chips, while giving much higher adaptability to vintage stereo gear by providing a much-needed Digital S/PDIF (Optical) input. For these reasons, despite being an excellent product, I can't get myself to recommend this to anyone with a clear conscience unless Auris corrects the price and brings it on par with (or below) the competing offering from FiiO, i.e. the BTA30 Pro. In fact, this perspective makes even the bluMe HD overpriced @ INR 10K in India.

Great add-on to your old HiFi systems
Have the Denon Amp connected to my player. Wasnt easy to play from phone or other devices unless having a wired connection and relevant adaptors. Blume Pro substitutes what would be. Good 40-50k investment in another blutooth receiver. Easy connectivity, provided with all relevant cables. Setup is very easy. Good range and no loss in fidelity.

Lossless reproduction of sound.
A brilliant Bluetooth receiver. Absolutely lossless reproduction of sound in my view. The sound quality is miles ahead of almost all other Bluetooth receivers. A tad expensive but totally worth it.

Worth every bit
Bought the Auris Blueme Pro after a lot of deliberation, after picking up high performance amps and speakers. Almost bought a wifi streamer for music, bit after pretty extensive study, decided to go in for good quality bluetooth receiver. Wanted one which supports LDAC. After an lot of research on various bluetooth receivers, settled for the Auris Blueme Pro. Am absolutely delighted with the entire product. Easy to install; sound quality is superb - I am streaming from a LDAC capable mobile. Even youtube music sounds good. Apple music and Amazon music even better. Worth every bit of time and effort taken to do the research, and every bit of the money spent. Go for it!
