Incredible!!
This is the smaller of the two versions produced by Tashen, smaller in material contained in the book, not size. The book is gigantic and beautiful. I have it in my law office waiting room for clients and they love it. Not sure on the price of it now, but I believe I spent less than $30 and it was a hands down steal. In addition to the comics, tons of additional biography of the Winsor McCay. Even for people who have never heard of this, it's a beautiful piece of art to flip through.

Transports you back to the early 20th century
Beautiful book and presentation. It alllows you to go back in time and experience what it might have been like to read these for the first time in the context of world events.

A great omage to classic American Newspaper Comics
A good read for McCay fans. Warning though, it is a very big book in size!

Awesome book- a bargain at twice the price
Awesome book- a bargain at twice the price. Text is pretty small, but if it was any bigger you wouldn’t be able to lift the book off the coffee table.

Huge book!
Fantastic! The reprints are faithfully offset and ugly looking, nothing was changed. It’s the perfect size, the original text is microscopic

American Pop Art in Its Infancy
Couldn't ask for more. It's as good as, or better than, advertised.

Masterful
Before calling someone's visual storytelling style inovative, check out McCay first.

Amazing book. I know the contents from a previous book. I'll be keeping this one sealed until I have someone little to entertain :)

The Complete Little Nemo de Winsor McCay: 1905-1909: Um sonho que virou realidade
The Strange World of Your DreamsThe Dream Art Of Rick Veitch Volume 1: Rabid Eye
