MSI PRO Z690-A ProSeries Motherboard (ATX, 12th Gen Intel Core, LGA 1700 Socket, DDR5, USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 5, 2.5G LAN, M.2 Slots)

I've been using this MSI Z690 - A PRO for a while now. First of all, the major aspect of buying any pc component, it's price. The price is literally very reasonable when you get into features it offers. And also the best thing I found about this keyboard was all of it's component slots are spaciously located so that there is no issues while putting all of the wires in the slots since I assembled all the components myself I can confirm it. I've not seen any kind of bottle necking or any compatibility issues with any other component which is the major plus point while going for MSI Z690. Now coming to the looks, I loved how I can control all of my RGB Components via this Motherboard using MSI Center which makes my Cabinet look amazing. Overall, I'm really satisfied with this Product and going for MSI since it's a reputable and a reliable Brand.

Pretty nice board. Definitely the best at this price. If you buy this product, just be aware to check CPU Lite Load into bios because Mode 12, which is default, set the power limit really high and will probably make your CPU run really hot under pressure like Cinebench or 3D Mark CPU test, even with a good cooler. Got mine at 9 and it's fine

I've been running this board for about 6 weeks. Works fine with an i7 12700, a single 32gig stick of Crucial ddr5 in XMP mode (will add a second stick down the road), and an EVGA RTX 3060 TI. I didn't even do a fresh install of Windows 10, I just swapped everything and booted up and installed the drivers and I have had zero blue screens or lockups. Very stable. I was half expecting to have some issues with the ddr5 but I haven't had any at all. I think this is my first MSI board. I used to only use Asus or Asrock but I know from experience that Asus boards can be very picky when it comes to ram and I wasn't in the mood for the BS this time. I just wanted to swap everything and get back to my daily routine. I also like that it has a lot of SATA and USB ports. I'm old school, I still rock a DVD-RW and one of my large backup drives is a spinner. Plus I have a few SATA SSD drives that still work fine that I use. Nice simple board.Update 2/9/23. I've been running a 13700k on this board since November 2022 and have had zero issues. I updated the bios while I still had the 12700 in it. I also added another 32gig stick of Crucial 4800 DDR5 for a total of 64 gigs of ram running at 4800mhz (XMP mode) and a Crucial P5 plus 1TB for my system drive and a Crucial P3 Plus 2TB for my game drive. I'm still rolling with the 3060ti. It's been a very solid motherboard, I haven't had a single blue screen or lockup since I bought it.

I upgraded from a z270 a pro which is an older version of this motherboard. Drivers came installed and was ready to go. You will probably have to do a fresh install of windows, it wouldn’t work with my old boot drive. other than that easy to install, easy to work with, and good value for money.
