Nice flavor
Food is always a matter of personal taste ;^) that said, I really liked it. I added half can of almond milk and a scoop of yogurt, instead of sour cream. A dash of salt and pepper and ate it up! Good on calories too! All cans were packed well, one slightly dented but I used to go to a 'dents make cents' store back in the day, so I'm not a can snob. Doesn't take an Einstein to tell if a canned product has gone bad and rarely does a small to mod dent cause failure. Overall, I would recommend!

THIS STUFF IS HORRID!
I WOULDN'T TOUCH THIS PRODUCT AGAIN WITH A HARPOON...MUCH LESS A SPOON. IT TASTES LIKE ... I JUST CAN'T FIND RIGHT WORDS...BUT DILUTED, LIQUIFIED CARDBOARD COMES TO MIND. I HAVE BEEN TOSSING OUT 1-2 CANS (I FOOLISHLY BOUGHT 12) OF THIS ON A WEEKLY BASIS FEARING IT MIGHT END UP IN A SINGLE DUMP SITE THUS LEADING TO AN EPA SUPERFUND DESIGNATION. THE COST WAS $44. EVEN AT 4-CENTS PER 12 CANS IT'S STILL UNEDIBLE. IF YOU ARE STILL TEMPTED, MY ADVICE IS DON'T DO IT!

Hard to find
Moved away from Virginia and can't find this in stores in my new location. Glad to see this is available online at a fair price. It's not as good as before but still a quality item.

Chincoteague -Great Bisque
This is as fine a bisque as you can find in a can. I punched it up with a little wine, and diced fresh lobster meat. I ordered a case and have already used at for two dinner parties. All of the guests were impressed and thought it was made from scratch. If you really like a bold-tasting traditional type bisque, you'll like this brand. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

It smelled like lobster bisque when cooking
It smelled like lobster bisque when cooking, however, if you are expecting chunks of lobster in your soup.... you will be disappointed. There wasn't any.... My husband bought two cases.... guess i will be buying and adding frozen lobster chunks to my soup.

Chincoteague lobster bisque
Excellent for a canned lobster bisque. I added heavy cream, about a half a can to thin it out and served it with mussels. I t looked incredibly appetizing and the taste did not disappoint . I would reorder again when I run out of it.

Delicious!!
This lobster bisque is delicious with little pieces of lobster found throughout. Lobster has a very delicate flavor but this soup brings it forth very nicely. Just add some milk or cream and pepper to the mix and you have a really rich, scrumptious soup. I highly recommend this bisque.

This has got to be one of the most foul things I have ever tasted
This has got to be one of the most foul things I have ever tasted. It has Zero trace of lobster in it and has no texture at all. At best it smells like partially spoiled fish. My cat would not even taste it, she just ran away from the smell.
