Very nice magnetic stainless steel rod.Ordered the 0.105 x 60". Came well-packed in a nice sturdy plastic tube with caps on both ends. Stiff, springy feel. Finish is a fine ground satin. Measured with a micrometer at ten random spots along the length. Absolutely uniform 105 thousanths.Seems to be a real bargain with free shipping.

This source packs wire in plastic tubes. Apparently during shipment or storage they got hot enough to stick wire to inside wall of tubes, making removal difficult.Wire was exactly what I ordered and once removed and replaced was easy to use. There may not be any material option and except for the sticking the packing was very good.If you purchase very fine wire look very carefully if it sticks to inside of tube it is almost undetectable.

I am using for a cheese slicer and it seems to stretch more than I expected

- I ordered one package of 5 for a project, and liked it well enough that I ordered a second package of 5. Especially since I saw it when it was at a great price! Prices for all kinds of steel seemed to jump in 2016, and projections are that they'll rise more, and spring-tempered Stainless is more expensive than the less-hard types. It's one of those things that's just too handy to pass up when it's affordable.- This is definitely H08 and works super, so I'm glad I could get some extra ;)- It's mill finish but it polishes-up well if need be.

Repaired a couple Benchmade knives with this wire. Very easy to form replacement omega springs with a pair of pliers.Had a couple Benchmade Mini-Ambush knives that were broken. Originally had sent first one to Benchmade, they sent the old one back along with a new replacement. Well, the same issue occurred with the replacement.The omega springs (Axis lock) snapped in half on both of these knives. I decided to fix both of them on my own.Will update review on durability of this wire, but so far working great.

Nice product, but wire wasn’t packaged appropriately and unfortunately, it arrived bent. Pretty hard to straighten thin sprung steel and make it look nice.

I was surprised that this came in straight segments rather than spools - so it came in a cardboard tube instead of a box. But no matter, it served its function perfectly. I wound it around a small steel rod in a drill chuck to make torsion springs for a Solari Dator 5 flip clock. For further details, search Flickr for "Solari Dator 5 restoration".

Great hard-to-find product. I use them to make parts for fishing lures. Exactly as described and seems to be of good quality. Get ya some and... get creating!
