These are the best reading glasses for when you need to look at a screen and read something close up simultaneously. The lens height (20 mm) is optimal. Other half-moon glasses have lenses that are 25 mm high, which is slightly too tall. The quality is much better than I expected for the price.

I'm at the age where readers are necessary. I kept buying full size readers which I'd then either have to take off to look at something further away, or I'd have to lean my head way forward so I could look over the glasses. These half-height readers solve problem of having to lean your head forward to look over the glasses. Admittedly I kind of look like one of those little old men now who always walk around with the glasses way down on the end of their nose. :-) These glasses have good clarity. They're durable, I've dropped them many times and they never scratched or bent. The pieces that rest of your nose are comfortable. And if they feel like they're a tiny bit tilted when you're wearing them it's very easy to tweak them a bit to straighten them. I bought them in a pack of 4. With the pack I got the glasses and they give you a sleeve for every pair and a lens cleaning cloth. The sleeve they give you is pretty low end, but for the price of the glasses the fact that you get a sleeve at all is somewhat surprising. I've purchased them more than one time. I accidentally stepped on a pair once and that's the only time I had to throw any of them away. The other pairs are in every room of my house so I always have them when I need them...lol. I'm happy with them. The half-height size is great for readers, they're clear and comfortable and you can't really beat the price.

These glasses fit me well, are comfortable to wear, and are reasonably attractive. I like that I can scoot them down my nose a little bit and see over the top of them for distance. Other reviewers have pointed out that they don't have spring hinges, but that doesn't bother me. I would give them a "5" except that the nose pieces are not mounted symmetrically. One nose piece is mounted slightly higher on the frame than the other. That's not a big problem since the nose pieces are hinged and they also can flex, but they would fit me a bit better if they were mounted in a more balanced way.

I often sit on my couch and look down at my phone while watching television. These half-lenses are perfect in that they do not obstruct my view of the tv while allowing me to comfortably read my phone. They are lightweight (15 g as opposed to my Costco Foster-Grant reading glasses at 27 g). It is easy to forget I am wearing them. The pads are spaced to sit higher on my nose bridge so they don't pinch my nostrils, so comfortable! The lenses don't pop out when wiped with a microfiber cloth (I use my own, not what is provided). The lenses seem fairly secure with nylon bands (shown in picture). The frame feels fairly sturdy, but definitely won't hold up to much force. This is ok for my needs since I won't be traveling with them. I imagine this is a risk with any lightweight pair of half-frames so plan accordingly.

I was really excited to get these half lens glasses. I knew they were going to be functional and they were being sold at next to nothing. Always read the reviews. I didn’t read them until realizing how strewed up they were. After seeing the glasses I received everything in the other reviews is completely possible. They looked great out of the package but I soon found out that they fit a toddlers head. The arms made to my ears only after straightening the ears pieces out completely. The nose pieces on both pairs were uneven and didn’t lay on my nose. The protective pouches were a joke. The company should be embarrassed to sell this product.

These reading glasses are cute. Awesome colors. Very comfortable to wear. Unfortunately both pairs have a haze on the lenses that will not come off. They’d be perfect for cosplay but not any help for actual reading.

Excellent in form and function. Few things that work great - made of glass, not cheap polycarbonate. Half size design works best for me. Highly recommend these

Although They work as reading glasses just fine, What's disappointing is I thought I could wear them generally and easily look over the top of them for my distance vision but that's not the case. To see over the top of them I have to perch them so far down on my nose that the ear pieces aren't secure, they glasses fall off easily and plus I look like a doofus wearing them like that. Other than that they work just fine.
