As promised, I'm updating my product review (from below)/. This thing is outstanding, Still not sure if there is any less capacity, but the ease of use is greatly improved vs, the original Polaris equipment! The filter empties very easily, minimizing the "gross" factor. Debris just falls out easily and there is only one zipper to handle as opposed to the original equipment (2 zippers). So I consider this even superior to the original Polaris equipment.Will continue to buy, especially at these prices! I have increased my rating from 4 to 5 stars!Fits perfectly and works. Just, a couple of things. If you are expecting the same quality (I wasn't) as the original Polaris equipment you will be perhaps disappointed. The materials are not as heavy certainly but it is unclear if that is a good thing or a bad thing? I don't know if the bag will wear out faster, logic says it probably will, my original lasted 2 years 9 months. It lasted, but did get pretty gross. Bottom line, it works.However, the thing that I didn't like is that although the dimensions are about the same, there is only one pouch, not two like the original Polaris bag. This means there definitely appears to be less capacity and I have a big tree over my pool so this might be a big negative, we'll see. But at least there is only one bag to empty? So, I'm going to reserve final judgment until I see some performance a few months, I'll come back and tell you how it goes. Now the real bottom line is, for this price you basically get 4 bags for the price of one! It's going to have to be a pretty bad fail to mess up that deal! I give it a 4 on hope, will move up or down on performance.Oh yeah, my Polaris is a 3900 Series (390--confusing numbers) and it fits. So I think the description should read: Fits 280 TO 480.

This product review is in response to your request for feedback concerning my recent purchase of two Polaris 280 pool cleaner filter bags. It is my understanding that a positive response from me will generate a series of reactions in your office culminating in the hug of a totally random senior aged female outside your facility. With that understanding I provide the following product review. The bags arrived as described and in a timely manner. They were meticulously constructed of the finest moldable constituent known to material sciences at this time. The elegant lines of the leaf bags reminds one of this years silk dresses in the Prada Spring Collection. The packaging of the bags was done exquisitely, wrapped in sturdy yet visually appealing bubbles of joy. My thanks to the staff and crew at Mad MTN Outdoors for making this purchase an enjoyable one.

I bought the two-pack. I alternate bags. When I take one bag off the cleaner I put a clean one on immediately. Then I let the other one drain completely before removing the debris. I started using one of these bags immediately, and waited until my older bag died of old age before cycling in the second of these bags.One of my bags is coming apart at a seam. I suppose I could repair it, but I am just going to buy some more bags. I will treat them as long-lived disposable products. I may cut up the old bag and use the mesh for filtering things.I am satisfied with my purchase of a couple of years ago. I bought these because they are inexpensive. For the record, I believe my Polaris bag lasted me about 8 years. If that is true, then from a lifecycle perspective, the Polaris bag may technically be a better deal. But, if I can buy 2 bags for $22 versus 1 bag for $25, will go with the cheaper deal.

I was hesitant to order a replacement part from someone other than Polaris. But I went ahead anyway and am pleasantly surprised.- The fit was perfect- Even easier to install and empty than the original- I like the fact that it has a zipper- The construction and material is qualityI would recommend this product to anyone looking for a replacement vacuum bag.

As nice or nicer than original. Be even nicer if it came with an extra hose clip so that everyone could just swap them out quicker and empty the bag dry, which is easier than reeling the cleaner in twice because who thinks to empty them when the pump is off? Of course Velcro is not so difficult, but you do have the thing trying to spray you down while you are changing the bag. Never got me though. Never.

I purchased the bags in July 2018 and as of October 2019 I am still using the bags. However, the stitching on the bags is very poor and I have had to mend some of the stitching on 3 different occasions to keep the debris from escaping. The bags are also difficult to remove from the Polaris. Without the mending I have performed, the bags would have had a life span of about 6 to 8 months. I gave them a 3 star rating because even though the quality is poor, they do perform their purpose with minor repairs and they are very reasonably priced. I doubt I will purchase them again.

We had always ordered the Polaris OEM replacement parts. None seemed to last more than a year. So we decided to try this product, since it is about half the cost of the OEM Polaris leaf bags. So far, very satisfied. Fits and works perfectly. A great savings over the OEM Polaris bags.

I have just used it now a couple of days. So far it is performing very fine. The question now is how long will it last compared to the brand Polaris filter Pool bag. The Mad MTN Outdoors 2 Pack Filter Pool Bags are certainly cheaper.
