The perfect blade for what it is.
Its great on so many levels. the size is right, the feel is perfect, and the look is why I bought it. The sheath is total trash, the only reason I'm not taking away stars is because I paid for the knife, not the sheath. I hate to say "for the money..." but in this case, you are only paying for a knife. I also have a SRK and a Gerber LMF. I prefer the SP6. Others have said it doesn't come sharp from the factory, but I don't feel that way. The SRK is razor sharp, the SP6 is pretty sharp. Definitely sharp enough and certainly nothing that I would even address if not for the other reviewers. Lastly, its big. My complaint about the SRK and the LMF is that they just aren't big enough for me. The SP6 is awesome. My only concern is that it will be used for camping (it's not a camping knife), and i will baton, I will throw it at trees, and it will be used to prep wood for fires. I hope it holds up. I've managed to break two LMFs, the SRK is so small that I can't abuse it.

Large, easily handled, sturdy, sharp knife. Has a good 'feel' to it.
