Super Functional!
This is a game changer for aquarium hobbyists! If you have a traditional sink spout, this is AMAZING and makes water changes super quick and clean. My old siphon-and-bucket way was awful and I had to mop up so much water every time. Make sure to watch the video that you can find by scanning the QR-code in the instructions, it can be confusing at first. This is so worth it for the price!

Awesome Value and Just what I needed
Easy to connect to my sink and saves me hours, I have a 55 gallon tank and I can change 50% or the water in the tank all with in 20 minutes. There is no sucking on hoses to get a siphon going, with a flick of a toggle switch it goes from taking water out of the tank to putting it in. I set my tap water at 77 degrees as I am emptying the tank via a digital thermometer and when I flip the toggle it fills it up with that temperature water, I drop a cap of prime and flourish in the water and easy peasy. 40 years of aquarium owner ship where have you been all my life.

Easy and time effective
An absolute time saver for sure. The faucet adapter is great I was worried it wouldn't fit my faucet. The plastic is a little cheap and it leaks at the faxuwr very slightly. Just make sir you screw everything nice and tight because the o ring is what's preventing those leaks. It's a bit of a waste of water in order to siphon but I always left my facet running doing water changes anyways just to maintain the correct temperature and now it couldn't be easier. I turn the faucet on to siphon and drain the water, I temp the water before I make sure to fill and when it's the right temperature all I do is turn the valve and it pumps in water just as easy. I'll then take the tube out and siphon whatever is remaining in the hose. Made a little cheap but it beats the leading competition 50 dollars higher so it's to be expected. Saves a ton of time and hassle

Works great but very bulky
I live in a 800 sqft apartment with 11 fish tanks. 6 40 gal, 1 29 gal, 1 20 gal, 1 10 gal, and 2 5 gal. Works great for large water changes and filling new tanks. I only use it for my 20 gal and up tanks. It's much faster and tidier than using buckets and a short hose! The adapter works on most sinks. You will have to unscrew the nose of your faucet to make this work. It did not work on my shower faucet. My biggest complaint is the size of the tubes. Great for fast water changes but very bulky and difficult to store. I live in an apartment but I can imagine this would be a challenge to store in any size house as it would take up a whole cabinet and has an awkward shape. Unless you have a utility room where you can hang it on the wall. Other than that I love this and saves me so much time and headache!

Where have you been all my life?
This is one of the best things I’ve ordered lately it work well whenever you no longer have to use a bucket and just a hose beautiful thank you I have ordered quite a few things from your aquarium. That is my gift to my grandson. It is fabulous.

Poor suction
My friend recommended this to me, and I am severely disappointed. I was looking forward to not having to run around with buckets while doing water changes. I followed the instructions, and no dice. Finally figured out that I needed to lift the hose over my head to get any suction, and even then, it was so weak that it wouldn’t get small leaves out. I’m just going back to the old one, this was a waste of time. Also blew up all over the place when I went to refill the tank. It looks like a great deal, but unless your water pressure is freakishly powerful, just use a normal one. I bought the 49’ one so it could reach my bathroom sink. I’m assuming it has something to do with gravity, but I’m not going to set up a bunch of stuff to hoist this tube super high to get it to work. Great concept, but not functional.

Best tool for the aquarium enthusiast
This is an awesome piece of equipment! No more bucket brigade. Makes water changes simple and easy. Great company! I bought the shorter hose and missed by 2'. No hassle return. Ordered the longer hose and I'm very happy! Note: the sink valve is long, be sure you have the clearance to screw it in. But, with 2 on/off valves, makes for a very easy water change.

valve popped off
Much easier than hauling buckets the suction is great if you have a forceful sink. I'm using the washbasin in the laundry room so it's strong. The only thing I'm disappointed in is the 2nd time I used it the on off valve connected to the tube popped off after I changed the sink valve to feed water in the tank and water flew all over. I had to fill the tank through the hole that the valve popped off which worked. I screwed it back on after I filled my tank but I'm not sure it's going to stay on the next time I do a water change. I'm going to have to just leave the valve switch to the open position and have someone else turn the faucet valve when I want to fill the tank and see what happens. It didn't seem to secure when I tried to screw the valve back on.

I've been looking at this and many other branded like items like this and have hesitated due to the lack of Australian reviews. I finally took the plunge and bought this as I am getting tired from doing the water changes in my 3 large tanks. - This kit comes with everything that is required. The correct connectors came with it so all I did was take the screw filter off of my tap in our laundry room. Screwed on the connector that came with the kit. - This kit can utilize our garden hoses as well due to the quick-release connector. Because of this, I went to Bunnings to get another 15m hose with the connector. This enabled me to use one hose/tube to empty one tank while filling up another tank with the other hose/tube. - Have I mentioned how easy it is to use this? If you've been in the aquarium hobby for a few months then you'll know what to do right away. - Keep in mind that the outflow rate is not that strong. Quite possibly due to the length of the hose/tube. That didn't concern me as I could use that time to start cleaning the glass, fix up plants, and or get the chemicals ready to put into the tank when I start to fill. I'm extracting the water in my 6-foot tank as I type this review. - Like with the outflow. The inflow water pressure from the tap is about the same rate. I haven't timed the entire process of taking water out and putting it back in. Enough of my rambling. If there are any questions, please let me know and I'll try to get them answered as best as possible.

It’s overhyped. flow is slow. you are better off manually sucking the other end of the syphon. overpriced for this bad contraption.

Great product. Don’t know how I did water changes before this. Mess free and works really well with AUS taps. Top seller

Purchased it because of the brass fittings that attach to the sink faucet. Probably works as good as others but the brass threads should last longer than the plastic ones being sold.
