How to Strengthen Your Faith

This book would be great to give someone who is coming to the saving knowledge of Christ. It would help answer questions a new Christian has about how to really trust and follow. How to depend on Christ and His works instead of the self righteous works of the flesh.This book is good for the mature Christian also because no matter how long we have been walking with the Lord there is always more to learn.Andrew Murry's words are always comforting and encouraging.

Being a student of the word for so long, at first I felt I wasn't gaining much from this book, however, I continued to read on, and realized it is marvelously written to be beneficial to everyone, no matter where you stand in your faith experience. I really enjoyed it as I read deeper into the chapters. I am a huge fan of Andrew Murray and have read at least a dozen of his books. True to form, he never disappoints!

Excellent book for those struggling with their faith.Murray takes on a heart of a pastor and provides practical, insightful, steps and words of Scripture to help people struggling with their assurance of salvation.In the chapters, he draws from scripture examples of people struggling with their faith and how Jesus words and promises meet them. God's character and nature is also expounded clearly throughout the chapters. The explanation of the parable of the sower is phenomenal as well!This is truly a Spirit-inspired book, and the wisdom contained is priceless.Of all the books I've read, this is one of the best. I cannot recommend it enough!If you are one that questions his/her own salvation, or is plagued with doubt, or struggling to get a firm grip on the gospel, then you must read this book.

Great book so far. Should be noted that it's written for people seeking to know the LORD Jesus, not just for the Christian looking to build his faith. Excellent book nonetheless.
