MG217 Psoriasis Scalp Solutions, Shampoo + Conditioner, 8 Ounce (5603) (Two Pack)

This product does work as far as itching and scaling but I went ahead and bought the one that is just maximum strength shampoo (red label) the second time around because it’s a larger bottle and this doesn’t conditions hair at all. I’ve been using regular conditioner after using the product to moisturize and detangle my hair. For me, the best method for using this brand is to pre wash your hair with your choice of shampoo to wash out any dirt or oils from hair products. Rinse completely. Then use the MG shampoo. Massage into your scalp, pin your hair up, leave in for at least 3-5 minutes. Rinse completely. Then condition with your choice of conditioner. Do this every 2-3 days. Every other day if your condition is really bad. I recommend using naturally scented organic shampoo and conditioner if you suffer from psoriasis or eczema because high chemical base soaps can actually worsen your systems. Anything that has “fragrance” in the ingredients, I’d stay away from. Don’t believe me, google how many ingredients are in just that one ingredient called, “fragrance” and you’ll understand why. That goes for laundry detergents, and body wash/bars as well. If you are thinking about getting the MG soap bar, do it. It really helps to dry out the rash.

Love this stuff. I was suffering from bumps on the back of my head that I would scratch and scratch until blood. Since using this, those bumps as gone and the sensation to scratch is gone.

I love this product. I have seborrhea dermatitis. I was using ketoconazole and it quit working. My scalp was itchy and flaky. If I rubbed my head it was like living in a snowglobe! I read the reviews and was worried when I saw a few that said "this shampoo made it worse", but I realize the description says it "removes buildup and scaling"... meaning to me that it's doing it's job. It gets the buildup off the scalp. I was excited to try anything. It works! It has zero scent, no medicated/chemical smells, it is clear and thick like regular shampoo. I used it for the first week and noticed the scaling was in fact coming off my scalp! I can rub my head like a genie lamp now, no flakes... no genie either, but I'll take the win. Seriously, if you have tried everything and nothing works... try this. You will see crazy flaking for the first few uses, but that just means it's working. Removing all the buildup is exactly what you need from any shampoo really. So happy I found this.I use this shampoo 3 or 4 times a week. Still loving this product. Still flake free. Still no genie.

Has significantly helped my daughter's seborrheic dermatitis on her scalp. She has less scaliness and the itch has stopped. Her hair looks silky and healthy. Happy with this purchase.

My husband has a scalp condition which cause redness, itching and flaking. We have tried many products and nothing comes close to this product. His scalp is back to normal and we won’t be using anything else. This stuff works great!!!!!!!

Best brand of salicylic acid I'd tried. Paired with the conditioning tar shampoo from MG217 and a unscented gentle clear shampoo I have mostly cleared my scalp of psoriasis buildup and scaling.

This particular brand works great for me, glad to recommend for psoriasis or eczema conditions....bear in mind this is NOT a cure; it suppresses symptoms.
