Title: Wooden Type (set of 2) Size: 8x18 Photo Standout Depth: 1.5" These one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork was made by adhering my original photographs "Wooden Type" to 8x8 wooden artist panels. The edges were finished with a grey custom mixed acrylic wash and the entire piece was sealed with an archival finishing agent. Because each piece is crafted by hand, each has its own minor imperfections that you items that are man-made rather than machine-made. The piece will come signed on the back by the artist with the name of the piece and date that it was photographed. Because of the coating on this piece, it is safe to hang in high moisture areas like bathrooms and kitchens that are normally not safe for photography. "Wooden Type" is original artwork photographed of antique letterpress type found at Big Wheel Press in Easthampton, MA during the Summer of 2013.
