It's a beautiful showpiece that functions elegantly and quiet!
I was pleasantly surprised to find this elegant automatic watch winder available to purchase, and was even more pleased when it arrived and noticed the quality of the product. Once you figure out how to load the watch on the bar and place it on the winder, it's easy after that. You'll want to keep this one on display - it's that elegant...

It almost looks like a fancy steampunk device as it noisily winds the watch.
The good…It looks great!I have one auto winding watch and looked forward to being able to rotate through my other watches as this automatically wound this one. It was easy to figure out how assemble, only having a base, an o-ring, watch mount and glass cover. My watch, a men’s Orient, fit perfectly and looked great on display. The bad…I finally had time to set it up last night in my bedroom and ran into a problem after going to bed. It is noisy, so bad in fact that I was unable to get to sleep with it running. While they included an o-ring to cut down on vibration and sound magnification through the glass lid. It does nothing to cut down on the noise coming out the baseAnd the noisy…I removed the watch and listened closely and heard what sounded like really loud motor bearings or other bearing. Taking the load of the watch off does not lessen the noise level.Placing the winder on a wood surface, like a bookcase shelf, or dresser allows the wood to carry and magnify the sounds as they travel down through the base and out through the wood. The pads on the bottom of the winder are not thick enough or sufficient to dampen noise traveling downward.I decided last night to return it and get a different winder. Unfortunately someone was really efficient at throwing away the box and packaging it came in. I am going to see if I can still return it.If not, I might take it apart, like the engineer I am and redesign it. Depending on what I find I might put a small processor in the base and use a stepper motor and better bearings instead of what they have. It might be fun to put a proximity detector on it and have it spin once and stop with the watch on display anytime it detects someone in front of it.Would I buy it again? Nope, I was in a hurry and didn’t read the reviews, I just went by looks. If they fixed the noise problem I would buy it in a New York minute, as it really makes my watch look good.

Great winder, great looking
Be careful in the unpacking. There are a couple of washers that can come off and roll away. Read the instructions to get it going. Love the look. It's really quiet and a phenomenal piece top look at. Works well. With another winder watch was always needed time adjustment. This winder keeps watch accurate.

Becomes noisy after 3 months
I really enjoy the aesthetic of this watch winder and purchased it with the intent on displaying the watch my wife gave me on our wedding day in my home office. It was relatively quiet, outside of a low hum, when it was orbiting. After about 3 months; however, the noises grew louder. The noise is now being picked up by my microphone and can be heard by my colleagues, who regularly ask if someone has a fan on. It's a shame I will need to relocate this winder.Edit: I took it apart (takes 2 minutes) and sprayed it down with WD-40 and seems to have resolved the issue. May just need to perform this every so often to avoid the noise.

Awesome
Looks great, super quiet, my only very minimal complaint would be it's a little tough getting the watch bar in the rings but I'm assuming it will become easier in the future. Great product. Highly recommended. Update: as I figured, after a few days the watch bar goes in and out much easier now. 5 stars all the way

not good.
This thing is loud and very poor quality. It's a pain to put the watch in so it isn't realistic for daily use. I can't believe I paid $100 for this thing, don't make the same mistake, buy any other winder you can find- just not this one. I missed the return windo so it's going in the garbage.

Beautiful but lacking instructions
This winder looks great and seems to work well. However, it came with no instructions. I had to figure out how to mount a watch in the holder and install it in the winder which is not obvious. It also is hard to mount a watch in the holders they give because the holders are quite stiff and unbendable. I could only use strapped watches because metal bracelets would not close on the holder. I also have no idea on how to use the single knob control. As far as I could tell it has a clockwise, counterclockwise, and a two-directions setting, but there is no way to set the number of rotations per day, nor do I know the default number of rotations. Makes for a nice display which is mainly why I got it. I won’t be buying another one when here are better ones available.

Nice unit. For $20 less, I'm opting for the Seenvlog
UPDATE -- I like this one though I'd buy the Seenvlog first (have 2). Changed the setting and it doesn't always end up facing forward. Still, a decent purchase.Replacing a decade+ old Heiden HD 014 winder that lost its mojo and can't keep any of my 3 automatics wound up. Bought 1 Seenvlog and 1 Aestoria -- both from Amazon. I'm buying a second Seenvlog. See my review there for more details. The one thing favoring the Aestoria is if you are really using this to show off your watch. Seenvlog often ends its run with the watch facing away from frontal view. Clarifications/inconsistencies in the product description and included instructions: No o-ring for the glass included -- not that this matters to me. All-in-all, I'm satisfied with the Aestoria but I'm buying a second Seenvlog so all my automatics stay wound up.
