Before you contact the shipper about the missing short fasteners, check the bottom of the chair. 4 fasteners are already screwed in - you’ve got to remove them with the supplied Allen wrench and then reattach with the swivel piece. (Whoops.)The chair, swivel piece and the base are shipped in one great big box. I was comically surprised when I found this box on my doorstep. I had to move it to get myself inside, and since the box was bowed and ripped, I couldn’t muscle it through the doorway. Neighbors probably got a big kick out of watching me slash the cardboard and tape on my porch and then take the pieces inside. Despite the damaged cardboard, the chair within was well wrapped with plastic and styrofoam so it is undamaged.There is a small box inside the great big box that advertises what hardware is contained therein - that information was inaccurate. 4 short fasteners are not in that small box; they are pre-attached to the bottom of the chair. I spent a couple bucks at Home Depot purchasing equivalent fasteners, and when I really sat down to put this thing together, I noticed the pre-attached fasteners on the bottom of the chair. I should note, I was sober when I discovered the hardware was missing and not a little annoyed, but when I sat down to put the chair together I was two glasses of wine in and the assembly suddenly made perfect sense.This chair is solid. It has a heavy base. It’s simple to assemble. I’m 5’3” and it’s a comfortable height for me. I usually sit Indian style; if you like your feet on the ground, check the height measurements. They are accurate - it’s a low-sitting chair. The swivel is smooth, the chair is comfy and easy to clean. It’s not real leather, though; it’s polyurethane according to the tag. The title of this listing is therefore misleading. I admit, I had my suspicions when I ordered it. I still give it 5 stars.

Absolutely love this chair. Super unique, and super comfy. Even my mom, who doesn’t think anything is comfortable, sat in this chair all night. Material is quality, does not look faux. Mine does have a small slice in the material, about 1/4”… but I don’t know if that was from the manufacturer or shipping/unpacking/moving. It’s not noticeable. And I can easily use leather glue to repair. Love this chair. But it’s a lounge chair, don’t use this for working at a desk. This is meant to chill in.

This chair is very comfortable, looks great in my room, but it not real leather !

I declined two separate deliveries because the boxes were torn/mangled. Even with that, I received the three separate orders in a span of about ten days...fast shipping.With the first box I asked the delivery guy if I could open it and inspect for damage. He said if I did that I'd be responsible for repackaging it and scheduling a pick-up. Rather than risk it, I refused the order. The second box was also ripped open and there was a noticeable scuff on the leather, so I refused it, too. The third came while no one was home and that (also) damaged box was left on my porch. As I'd theoretically accepted the order, I took a chance and opened it and am so glad I did. For the money, I didn't expect it to be so well made. Was a breeze to assemble, sturdy and appears to be high-quality.Because of the quality, and in spite of the packaging issues, I'm still giving it five stars. Communication with the seller, shipping, and the quality win the day. And I will be ordering another.

Chair arrived with several punctures in the faux leather. No hardware.

These chairs look just like the photo - they are high quality and super comfortable. The chairs are also really easy to assemble.

Box arrived damaged, partially opened with holes in box. Corners of boxes dented. Taped up where there was openings.Chairs are damaged leather ripped. Platform loose inside box and not wrapped.
