"... to be capable of more interesting wickedness"
I imagine those familiar with Dr. Jorjani's work will respond to Closer Encounters with either 1) aneurysm or 2) delight. There is some genuinely terrifying information here that I was not previously aware of.The conclusions, too, are fresh. Some surprises: - Cephalopods. - Ancient Greek Vampires. - Dead gods playing dead; the better to draw you in, Dearie. - Time traveling Nazi Overlords. - Kamikaze seduction of the archons. If you stand on a firm foundation of spiritual TRUTH, you will not like this book.If you have not made up your mind and appreciate thought experiments, you might like this book.If you are willing to stand in an open field, begging the lightening bolt to share a glimpse of its mysteries in your direction, THEN YOU WILL LOVE THIS BOOK.Thank you, Dr. Jorjani!

UFOs are not here to save you! Another form of humanity want to eradicate your pesky free will.
Jorjani has done something entirely different here, unlike what you will generally find elsewhere. He has followed the data and taken the typically disparate, siloed and compartmentalized hypotheses concerning our “alien visitors” and synthesized them into a convincing grand narrative in which they are not necessarily mutually exclusive possibilities. These are enframed within our current geopolitical and sociological order as well as the coming technological Singularity, encompassing a reality and relationship with these beings that is unavoidably intimate, one in which we are also at considerable existential peril. A great but greatly necessary taboo in the field of ufology is perpetrated here, the claim that these “aliens” very much are not likely as such. He shows us how the Abrahamic revelations have set us up to be duped by yet another far more insidious one, and that if we do not quickly and adroitly adapt through a fresh worldview in ways that we currently can hardly fathom, we will be utterly subsumed by this new reality in which we are no longer in charge of our destiny. Jorjani tells of a cosmic intelligence that is rooting for us to break free of this fate.

Marvelous Exposition
I've been studying the phenomena discussed in this book for the better part of a long lifetime, having access to an extensive library covering most areas of these studies, and it is my personal conviction that this is the most well-written, rigorously researched, carefully reasoned, comprehensive work thus far published in the field. It is also organized with precision, each chapter starting with a summary of its contents, detailing where to find specific material under bold-text and numbered subheadings. Footnotes, a representative bibliography and brief index are provided.Dr. Jorjani has an unparalleled ability to synthesize, coordinate and explain difficult cross-disciplinary concepts. He fearlessly presents his findings in the spirit of genuine philosophical and intellectual inquiry, despite sociopolitical challenges and crystalized worldviews. No matter where humanity goes from here, the message of this book is timeless.

Some good, lots of bad
Keep reading and if you think this guy's a racist, then go onto Google and get confirmation. Lots of the material here is from the Secret Space Program lore that you'll find attracts a bunch of MAGAs. The worst part, the writer comes out and says it, to paraphrase: all things worthwhile were created by the Aryan race. What a POS.

Far Out Speculation
It has been said that Jason Jorjani is a man whose brain is too large for his skull. The result of that cranial pressure is this gloriously loopy book; that makes Erich Von Daniken look like Neil Tyson at his most boring. Fun read.

This book is a wild ride!
Where else are you going to find someone earnestly trying to sell you on the idea that the Hebrew nation was founded by time-travelling Nazi supermen (who also built the moon)? Suspend your disbelief and you'll have a blast reading this.

“Sad, so sad. Pathetic, actually.”
First, the good things: the print is of good quality and the book contains plenty of juicy UFO stories. Too bad all those stories are from other sources, while Jorjani’s contribution is, to quote himself, “Sad, so sad. Pathetic, actually.” (p 434.).A credit should be given to Jorjani’s knack for obfuscating his mediocrity as a thinker and a scholar. Yes, there are plenty of examples that he cites with endless “Ibid”s, (i.e., giving numerous uninterrupted citations from the same source), but he does not provide a fair representation of the source, nor does he bother discussing alternative explanations of the phenomena. Yet, he conveniently makes dubious statements as facts without providing any references or arguments to support them. For example, talking about the pillar of cloud in Exodus (p.283) he says: “We can confidently identify this ‘cloud’-like aura as the ionization effect produced by the electro-magnetic propulsion system.” It would be great to have a reference to support such confidence, especially that in the very next paragraph he says: “there is one particular night when the object does not emit its usual fiery glow”, and yet it keeps flying. He loves sciency terms but does not understand how idiotic they sound, such as a “mercury-thorium isotope” and “an amount of energy equivalent to the volume of a coffee cup” (both p.111). He apparently thinks that Sun and Moon “set at the opposite points of the horizon at solstices” (p.217), i.e., one in the West and the other in the East.Jorjani thinks he is very smart, regularly making snide remarks about others, while his own performance is rather sophomoric. Just consider the main thesis he is pushing in this book (spoiler alert, but you can get all you need to know in the 'Look Inside' preview anyway). His main contention is that Nazis developed zero point energy at the end of the war, which also allows time travel (because Jorjani with his deep understanding of science says so); they travel back in time to change the past to their liking, they are the Nordics, and since they are Nazis, we are doomed, unless we employ another evil (unfathomable according to some, such as Cthulhu), such that that evil destroys Nazis/Nordics and 99% or so of the population, because, you see, it is a sacrifice he is willing to make to free “us” (those similar to Jorjani) from the evil Nazi/Nordics. Makes sense? What kind of arguments does he have for the Nazi time travel? Only fallacies a la guilt by association, such as: “What were they moving around on private trains that ran along all of those American rail lines they owned?” (p.100) “Would they have landed on all those acres acquired in Argentina by Prussian corporate colonists?” (p.103) He thinks that JP Morgan was behind the late 19th century American UFOs, because one of the UFOnauts told a witness that they are financed by somebody in New York. To Jorjani, it means JP Morgan is the financier, never mind the deceptive nature of UFOs and that NJMZa was operational when Morgan was not of much importance yet. But, but, yes, it must be the time travel! Fine, let’s assume it is time traveling Nazis. Apparently, instead of impressing everybody with their tech at the end of the war, they dumped themselves on Mars some 300 or whatever million years back. Just because why not. Did it do them any good? Well, they nuked themselves and blew the Mars atmosphere off in the process. Scarily smart bastards. What about the “savior”, the Trickster? Well, he may kill people for fun, mutilate cattle, etc., but it is all good, because he is the Trickster. Nazis/Nordics, who do similar nasty things are not the Trickster, so they are bad, but the Trickster is good. Got it? What is this Trickster? It is a time-traveling octopus species from the distant future with magical powers such as the ability to change “color and texture instantly because its neurons are connected directly to millions of pixel-like sacks in its skin. The octopus is like a CRISPR genetic engineer who could recode not just the colors but also the texture of its skin.” (p.366). Impressive? Jorjani apparently never heard of goose bumps. Also, there are Grays, but they are not Nordic Grays, because they are owls, OK? And so on…To sum it up: the book would be an ok compilation of scary UFO stories were it not for Jorjani's "contribution" that only muddles the waters, either on purpose or just because he is that simple. For those interested in the overview of the phenomena, Marty Garza on The Brothers of the Serpent podcast gives a much deeper and nuanced overview, and of course there are plenty of other, much better books on the subject. Even the Illuminatus! trilogy provides a better insight into what it could be about plus being much more entertaining and wild.

Great modern book for all experiencers and researchers
I'm an experiencer/abductee and researcher my whole life. I've looked at all kinds of stuff. This is great for beginners new to the subject as well as seasoned experiencers and researchers. Jorjani comes to the same basic conclusion I have searching for answers: this dialectic between two main abducting alien groups, this militaristic nordic breakaway faction working with the military and this more alien faction running the genetic modification 'hybrid' programs. He provides value by distilling a lot of key insights and points from a number of subjects and brilliantly bringing them together in an understandable way. He doesn't waste your time with superfluous stuff like many authors do. The book flows well. I was surprised and impressed.I learned a fair bit from this and this book really helped to clarify my own understandings. I'm not sure if I agree about the moon being so physical, as many believe aliens are on a rock in space, but I still believe the moon and Mars represent other worlds, perhaps portals or reflections of worlds if not actual rocks in space. But that's not important. He talks about time travel dynamics with aliens and how many are not as alien as we think. He does this in a simple, easy to understand way so anyone can learn. He traces all his theories with solid evidence so you stay grounded throughout all of it.His ending conclusion is brilliant. This book is very important in this field for its big picture thinking which is what we need going forward.I also don't agree with his contempt for Jesus Christ, although he does speak the truth about how much of religion is satanic mind control, especially a lot of the old testament and how Jesus has been worked into a negative religious narrative to control people. So he points out the negatives of Christianity but misses the spiritual beauty and truth in it. That's okay though, it's not the focus of this book.Even though I disagree with some things, I still love this book for how well it's written, so thoughtfully and considerate of the reader. I'm more grounded and enriched in my understanding of the phenomenon and my own relation to it. Many reading this will be going over many things they've already heard before, but that's fine. I see this book as a step forward in collating the sum of close encounters research and moving forward towards bigger and better understandings. Especially important is the insights into the negative nordics and differences between the grey worker drones of the nordics and the shapeshifting owl greys of the more alien group. He shows how nordics have been acting as gods throughout time, and not all benevolent. This is important information not shared much elsewhere in such an objective, rational, intelligent, well-documented manner. Valuable book, well worth it.

An investigation that is in sore need of being brought to a larger audience
This is dot connecting on the grand scale.Dr Jorjani weaves together several strands of investigation that have all been either neglected or dismissed by the conventional mainstream into a highly challenging series of hypotheses.Beginning with examination of the US government’s obviously deceptive recent report on ‘UAPs’, the new name for what we used to call ‘UFOs’ he progresses through the history of these phenomena, not only since the Second World War but way back through history. He ties in abductions and cattle mutilations to a hypothetical breakaway civilisation in a fairly convincing manner.Fortunately I had come across some of the research of Dr Joseph P Farrell recently and so was not so shocked by some of this as I might otherwise have been.I have long found UFO research somewhat dry and I am most grateful to Dr Jorjani for distilling evidence into a form that was more accessible than in some of my previous experience. There can be no doubt that one of his principle arguments, that there is a hidden, possibly ‘breakaway’, civilisation here that is technologically way ahead of our conventional weapons, communications and transport systems, must be correct, and that the governments of the world, the US especially, are either complicit with it, or else so far behind that it is powerless in the face of it and consequently are afraid to admit this due to the inevitable social unease it would cause.Add to this a persuasive case that is made for the gods of the major world religions being super-advanced beings who have treated the human race as chattels and vassals in the past and we are getting into territory that is so far outside of the box of conventional historical narratives that many will doubtless find it unsettling. It is hard to know whether all the inferences, hypotheses and speculations that Dr Jorjani goes on to develop through the course of the book will ultimately be found to be correct, but he draws plausible connections between not only those matters already referred to but with other known anomalies that have failed to be accounted for and not gone away, such as the Hollow or Artificial Moon evidence.Beyond this, Dr Jorjani engages in discussion of the ethics and ethos that a truly ‘Promethean’ civilisation would practise bearing in mind the parlous state of Western civilisation in our time and considering what might follow in the coming time frames.Wide ranging though this work is, it probably only scratches the surface of an investigation that is in sore need of being brought to a larger audience so that it can be more thoroughly debated in the public arena.

A well researched and very accessible book on a intriguing subject
If like me you have always been curious about this intriguing subject, but are not well read on it, i would say this is an excellent starting point. Dr Jorjani has crafted a well researched and very readable book on a very complex subject. The way he lays out the chapters , as another reviewer has also stated, is excellent and makes it very easy to find specific information. The analysis of the information he has obtained in his research should open your eyes to a new way of looking at this subject, quite different from other analysis of it. But Dr Jorjani lays out a very convincing case for his hypothesis of what is actually happening and why you should be alarmed by it.I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in seeing the truth around us.
