Good quality tape, has multi uses

I bought this tape to give hedgehogs traction getting into their feeding station which was fantastic with the added bonus of keeping out unwanted visitors such as slugs.

Found it easy to use.For best results warm up the surface you'll be applying it to aswell as the grip tape itself.

It is very likely that it was due to trying to use on my wooden garden steps at the coldest and dampest time of year but I often found the tape to move and come away from where I had stuck it. The tape itself on top is very well made and offers very good grip. I do think it’s very expensive and wasn’t very long meaning I nearly didn’t have enough for what I needed, but appreciate I didn’t take the care myself to check it. I just saw the pictures and though it would be a big 10m roll or something considering the price as well

I thought this would be able to stop me from sliding on a smooth floor by taping it to my basketball shoes but all it did was scratch the surface and if anything it slid more. Also the adhesive isn't very strong and I was expecting better from the Gorilla brand. Maybe there are other use cases where this could be applied, but for me it actually made the bottom of my shoes mire slippery!

I used this to add some traction/grip to a pair of ladders I often use, without the tread, they can be a little slippy if it begins to rain (I don't wait until it rains before I take my ladder out and ascend, but I have been caught off guard before).For best effect, clean the area the tape is to be applied to, ensuring it is free from any contaminants, dirt, grease, etc and completely dry.It is also most effective, to warm the area too, if you don't have a heat gun, a hair dryer will do, this helps activate the adhesive and gives it time to bond fully, although it does have quite a good bond on cold surfaces too (I test with a few left over pieces).My ladders are now much safer, and I could probably clean my windows in a thunderstorm without slipping.

We have used this Gorilla grip tape in numerous places in and out of our home. On step ladder steps to make them grippier, and on the edge of decking steps to prevent slipping in the rain.It may be expensive, but Gorilla is one company where you know you get the quality that you pay for. The tread is nice and thick and you get a very long roll which should get your through a few jobs. The glue is also unbelievably strong. Be careful where you put it down, make sure you're sure before you stick it, because it is very hard to remove afterward. In my mind this is a good thing as I won't have to deal with movement or peeling for some time.
