My 6 yr old wanted to read it many times. Charming story and illustrations make this a great family book!

My students and I love the humor and imagery. We grew in sympathy for donuts everywhere...even though we still like to eat them. I think I heard that "Hole" foods are part of a healthy diet, so we'll continue loving donuts and your books. Thank you.

I read the book to a kindergarten class and they LOVED it! As a follow- up activity, I gave each child a donut to frost and decorate. Of course, they each ate their “Arnie”! 😊

I can’t say enough about this book! It’s HILARIOUS. The illustrations are 10/10 and the amount of detail in the book is incredible. It’s my kids favourite read, hands down. We all laugh when we read it. I’ve even started gifting it to other kids! Can’t recommend it enough!

This softcover is our 7-year old son’s favourite book, he got it for bookweek. But he reads it twice a day now, it’s one of the first books he can read by himself in one go. Well, that is, he knows the text by heart now. It’s a great work of literature about the daily challenges in the life of a doughnut. I won't spoil the story, but parents can rest assured; it ends well. All quite relatable really, with appealing and very accurate illustrations. And it is good that the issues that doughnuts face are finally addressed and recognised. It is clear the author conducted a lot of research of source material.I know the story by heart as well now, and I just wish our son would stop reading this aloud when waking up at 06:00 am.

Such a cute colourful story. Subtle Adult humour makes it enjoyable to read. My class of kids love it.
