This is an amazing set for kids or adults as it comes with everything you will need to start a new hobby! It comes with acrylic and watercolor paints as well as colored pencils, making this the perfect set as you get to try out different forms of art. It all comes with some good quality paint brushes, a painting pallet, and two notes books, so all you need to buy is this one set and you have all the supplies you need.The case it comes in is very good quality but it is somewhat heavy as it is made of wood. However, it is still portable and easy to carry around. The paints seem to be very good quality and they all have lids so they can be reused over and over again. Overall this is a great purchase and well worth your money. Not to mention this would make a fantastic gift.

I was amazed at all the gear that comes in this art kit. It seemed to entertain a 12 year old boy for a long time. I know it's something he'll come back to again and again. Really couldn't be happier with this art kit.

Artibox 58 Piece Deluxe Art SetThis is a very nice set for a beginner, particularly one interested in watercolor painting. There are 12 paint tubes in acrylic and 12 of the identical color in watercolor paint, which is nice for seeing the differences between the types of paint--you can see the changes in thickness, reaction to water, and interaction with the canvas while using both sets of the same color.There are also two pads--a drawing pad and a watercolor pad--of high quality, several colored pencils, and a pad of packed pigment that you can loosen with water and use for watercolor painting that way. Very cool! There's a tray that you can set the pigment rectangle into for use with water so that you're not accidentally mixing the colors together during use, and when the rectangle is dry you can take it out of the white tray and pop it back into place in the black tray. This art set was the perfect gift for my daughter who loves experimenting with art medium with her cousin. While this isn't a professional set, she felt very professional because the case is nice wood and for the most part all of the supplies are nice and work weel. A few of the colored pencils were out of place and loose but otherwise everything was in good working order. Highly recommend for beginner artist who want to experiment.

This has everything you need plus a way to keep your supplies organized and accessible. The quality of some of the included paints and pencils - I'd describe them as adequate. They're not quite as good as a sweet set of Prismacolor or anything like that, but they're good enough to use.For the money, you're getting a lot, and this would make a great gift for someone just starting out. For advanced users or people who do this professionally, I'd probably not recommend this, since they're likely to want some better quality supplies.

Very nice art set

Wow! This art set makes a stunning gift for the budding young artist in your household. It comes supplied in a rather sturdy and well made wooden storage case. The case has the manufacturers logo printed in the bottom right hand corner and looks rather stylish. You have two clasps that secure the two halves together and a small padded handle with which to help transportation. For me personally, the clasps and handle are probably the only thing that let this down a little as they feel a little cheap in comparison with everything else you receive. To be fair it’s a minor cosmetic issue only as functionality wise it works exactly as intended.The moment you open the art box is when the wonder and delight of what you have becomes apparent. Two large and well stocked trays neatly unfold either side revealing two further trays and a huge array of supplies. In the set you receive (deep breath….) 20 dual tipped marker pens, 24 coloured pencils, 6 graphite pencils, 48 oil pastels, 12 watercolour paints, 12 acrylic paints, 3 different illustrated books for using your kit, a pencil sharper, a rubber and 2 small paint brushes. Phew! That’s a lot of products.All the elements are of a high quality and there is nothing I could find to be substandard or inadequate. If I had to find any fault I could say that the paintbrushes could be of a slightly better quality but that really is about it. For what you are paying you are receiving a quite astonishing amount of items to cover multiple art styles. It’s a simply superb set and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Five stars all the way!

This set would make an excellent present for a budding artist who wants to extend their skills. The design of the briefcase, with its cantilevered interior, makes the set easy to carry while keeping all the stored items safe and easy to access. Hopefully you should, when the contents start running out, be able to replace them with items which will fit in the case.I’m not an artist, so not really qualified to comment on the quality of the paint, brushes, etc, but having briefly sampled some of them they seem to produce good results. I’ve reviewed some other packs of this type where the contents, even to my inexpert eye, look distinctly shoddy, but everything in this set looks like good value, bearing in mind that this is an awful lot of stuff for only £47. The supply of four different colour media (pencils, oil, acrylic and watercolour) gives plenty of scope and encourages experimentation. I was pleased to see that the three pads of paper were not just the usual tear-off pads, but ring-bound, which makes it easy to draw/paint in situ and to keep neatly the finished sheets that you want.A quick look on Amazon suggests this is as good value as you can expect in this price range. You are, of course, paying extra for the case and probably a premium price for the contents, and it would be wasteful to buy this set for a younger child, unless they have a genuinely strong interest in art. For the right person, however, it is a very good choice.

I was pleasantly surprised when this was revealed after opening - I have bought several art sets over the years for my grandchildren and paid close to this for them but no where near as comprehensive or quality as this one!I was even more surprised when pulling back the trays to see a second layer of goodies! There is a huge variety of mediums that would be an amazing start up set or an addition to an accomplished artist.The wooden case is fabulous and the handle strong and well made - I would be proud to win this if I was into art (sadly I am not) one of my granddaughters in particular is doing a university arts degree and she will be so happy with this. If priced and purchased individually, it would go beyond the price of this if you were to take into account the beautifully made case.A great gift for a budding artist - would be even better if a few more brushes were included as just 2 brushes would not be adequate for someone a little more accomplished but it is still great value.Also included is 3 art pads for different mediums.A fabulous set and ideal for a gift - Recommended.

This art set is simply brilliant.My first impression when it arrived was that it would give the family years of long fun.In a rugged lockable hard box are the tools for creating it.The set includes paint and felt-tip pens, crayons and pencils.Various booklets are also part of the set. Thus, with the right tool, we can create the right surface.I admit, I’ve tried a lot of art products and I have a lot of that stuff, but I haven’t come across such a complex thing yet.I really like the way the tools are stored in your bag.It doesn’t need to be taken out of it because the bag can be opened and pulled apart.This is a very imaginative and creative solution!This product is well worth the price.With us in the family, we use it more and more and love it.I can recommend it with a good heart!Thanks for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.XO Sue

My wife is the artistic one and I've definitely earned a Brownie point or two by ordering this lovely art set for her.Acrylics, watercolours, markers, pencils and more are all securely stored within.Photos don't really do it justice, but the beautifully sturdy case, with the clever lift and tilt trays, is of excellent quality.Considering how much gear is provided, the currently advertised purchase price is very reasonable.Lovely product that any would-be Rembrandt or Picasso is sure to love!
