Our entire downstairs is hardwood floors with a touch of ceramic tile. This attachment is perfect. The soft hair like bristles gently lift dust fromThe floor for cleaner floors. I now prefer to vacuum daily with my shop vac instead of sweeping with our janitor style floor mop.We have 3 indoor/outdoor German Shepherds and their hair sheds horribly. This vacuum head works great capturing it so that it won’t float away before being sucked up.It is also great for use on leather furniture, walls, ceilings, and high areas that get cobwebs but need a gentle touch.Minor Cons:I have to stop often and clean the vacuum head because the light weight dog hair balls get stuck in the bristles.You have to either lift the attachment off of the floor or position the vacuum hose almost straight up in order to suck up anything larger that dust or hair. i.e. bread crumbs, air soft bb, Otherwise the bristles just push the debri around. It has become automatic for me now so it’s not a big deal to me.The head swivels which I love 90% of the time. The other 10% it drives me crazy because when I have to lift it up to get larger debris it almost always swivels in the direction I don’t want it and I have to spend seconds getting repositioned to continue vacuuming.Overall this is a must for someone needing to cover a large area in a short amount of time. I’ve literally vacuumed my downstairs everyday since receiving it and it takes me longer to get the vacuum out and put back up then it does to vacuum 2000+ sq ft of hardwood floors!!

This hardwood floor brush vacuum attachment works well with Shop-Vac brand 6-gallon vacuum; the floor brush attachment leaves no marks or scratches on finished hardwood floor surfaces. It swivels smoothly. Used it to vacuum particulates and dust generated from sanding of newly installed wallboard that had been taped, with applied joint compound. The debris from sanding vacuumed-up perfectly and the attachment flawlessly captured all of the mess left by the sloppy workmen. The horsehair brushes are very sturdy and maintained shape throughout this extensive vacuuming effort (over 1600 sq ft vacuumed). Periodically removed the brush attachment and vacuumed the brushes themselves with the vacuum hose to remove and trapped particulate material; however it never looked like the brushes held any particulate when I performed the brush cleaning 'maintenance' activity. You will be very pleased by the performance of the tool; I will buy again, but am not expecting this tool to wear out any time soon. It is solidly constructed, albeit of plastic. There are wheels, one on ea side of the brush head; wheels don't interfere with performance of this tool or the efficiency of the vacuuming process; you hardly notice the wheels if at all. The bush is easy to push around on hardwood floor surfaces. Happy I made this specific purchase. It exceeded expectations!

My husband likes to vacuum our cement basement floor with the Shop Vac. Unfortunately, the attachment for floor cleaning that comes with it sticks to the floor because of the powerful suction. It's very difficult to move it across the floor.Cue this product! It has small wheels to elevate it off the floor a bit as well as bristles. Both help to move the attachment across the floor while effectively picking up everything. I used this before my husband did and called him down to the basement to show him how awesome it is!The only weird thing is that the bristles have a very strong smell. I don't know what it is but it dissipates after a while. I would recommend putting it in your garage or outside for a couple days to let the smell go away.Overall, this product is totally worth the money and I'm so glad I bought it!

After collecting web threads and trying to vacuum them with a small, round, horse-hair hose attachment on my old popcorn ceiling this was a real relief! It's good and wide and the hair base is gentle enough not to wipe out the remaining popcorns off the ceiling but does a good job wiping up those threads. The price is reasonable and this helped cut off many hours of cleaning. However, I will never advocate for popcorn ceilings in the future; too hard to clean or paint. I'm glad this product was available.

This stupid little tool well exceeded my expectations. We just built a new house and installed luxury vinyl plank flooring. The workers were still working here and there in the house so I tried to sweep every day to keep the dust/sawdust to a minimum. This darn tool fit perfect on our shop vac, and it worked on dust, sawdust, pebbles... I am truly impressed. And super soft on my new floors. Even worked on the cardboard boxes I had laid over the flooring to try and protect it, also on the plastic over the carpet on the stairs. It has been a long time since I was so pleasantly surprised by a product I purchased online. Thinking of buying another to have on hand in the garage.Does not however fit on my Eureka mighty mite vacuum, but I have ordered an adapter so I can use it after the construction is over and my shop vac is back in the garage. Better than the head on the vacuum. Wider too.

This item was stated as compatible (in the "frequently bought together" section) with the Eureka NEN110A Whirlwind vacuum but it is not. The tubes are exactly the same size and don't fit together.

I like to use a small shop vac to clean my wood and tile floors. This brush attachment works wonderful and is gentle on my wood and tile floors. It swivels around chairs and tables and is long helping me to get the job done faster on the open areas. I've just ordered another for our shore house. Extremely happy with this brush. I've posted a photo of the shop vac model showing the one that I use that this brush fits great on.

I use this attached to a long-handled handheld vacuum when I don't want to drag out the big one. The bristles make it gentle on the wood floors but I find that the bristles also make it harder to pick up pet hair. The bristsles capture the hair and small items and prevent it from getting sucked up by the vacuum.

What's to say? It's a universal fit central vac head. It fit my central vac. I can vacuum my floor now. It was affordable, shipped quickly and arrived when expected. This isn't rocket science here guys...

good brush; little pricey, but what is not nowadays? would buy again

Longer width is great. Easy to clean with open ends.

The wheels are a little cheap on it and better if it didn't have them. Missing the yellow brush with my order.
