ChooseTop Miraculous Flies Trap (Catch Housefly Cage/Flies Killer)

Love that this is completely low tech, and effective. I needed several tries to get it set up right because the instructions are nil. The photos on Amazon helped. Tomato pieces (with a little water) inside. Photo is of first morning. I love the ones with fish meal in them, but have them elsewhere in the yard because of the stink.

We have problems with flys every summer -- in particular in a glassed stairwell where they gather in numbers and die. We have tried all kinds of ideas. At last, we are resorting to a fly trap and chose this one off Amazon based on reviews. So far, we are quite happy. The trap is simple to set-up, use and clean. It seems to work and we have been catching volumes of flies. Time will tell on its impact over the summer. We are too early in the season -- it is only May. But we are optimistic. It won't get everything. But it makes a non-chemical impact so far. Added to that, it is fabric so it can't be knocked and broken by the kids.

This fly tap worked very well. The trick is to use the right bate - it has to be nasty. I used a little plastic cup and put some raw chicken in it with water and 2 days later all the flies were in the trap and my patio was mostly fly free.

Ok...I will need to update this review once I have a performance history to report...just started using it.It is kind of a neat assembly, and worth buying if only for the enjoyment of reading the text on the box!
