I like how book 2 starts out in a dream state. I often find myself in fantastic worlds in my own mind...even as an adult. Finding aliens and traveling in space is a great thrill.The main character, Rebekah, has a curious and suspicious mind. Her b.s. meter is already on high alert well beyond what it should be for her years. This makes it entertaining and I knew girls growing up who were like this. I still do know those kind of girls!It makes for interesting reading to see the big reveals and what Rebekah learns. At the end of each story she finds a twist to her investigations that kids will enjoy. And the friends and experiences along the way kids can relate to.

I originally picked up the first book in the series The Mysterious Garden and was surprised to discover a great tale with a terrific lead character. Rebekah follows in the wonderful literary tradition of strong, curious girls with a hunger for adventure and mystery.And the adventure continues here with even greater stories of mystery that include cappers of ghost and aliens and other fun stories. Each book in the series is well written and full of charm. And there's a simple reason for it...for Rebekah everything is a problem to be solved. And she has the skills to do it!--even is she sometimes gets it wrong :)Bottom line these 5 books are a bargain at this package price. Terrific bundle for the kids.

We bought this set of kindle books for our seven year old daughter. We started reading them together before bedtime. The stories are interesting and keep the kids' interest, especially since it was a girl detective. The chapters are pretty short so they are doable for bedtimes on school nights. We took one star off because there are some spelling and grammar mistakes. We also think the age range is appropriate (9-12) because our 5 year old was getting a little spooked by one of the "ghost" stories in there. Despite the grammar and spelling, we would probably order the next series books 5-8.

Cute stories. But I discovered many grammar and spelling errors. Can definitely be corrected with a bit of editing.

I just love this series about the resourceful and curious Rebekah. I am always on the look out for books for my great nephews that are appropriate and this series qualifies. I already have read and given them the Mysterious Garden and another one of Nanny P's books, The Missing Gems, so I decided to pick this compilation up for them. They are thrilled. It is rare that you find such a quality book for this age group and I really appreciate the author for providing it for children. Highly recommended.

I purchased  Rebekah - Girl Detective #2: Alien Invasion (a fun short story mystery for children ages 9-12)  and my daughter and I loved it so much we decided to buy the whole series of these books! They are well written and the stories hold the reader's attention. Highly recommended!

I gave this book 1 star because it has so many punctuation errors.But the biggest error was that in the middle of the ghost story,there was the alien story!

The other reviews sounded great and I wanted this book (4 books in 1) to be good for my daughter, however the print is so small, she won’t start reading it. I would love an option for each book separately with large print.

These are great books my daughter (6) loves them. They are easy enough for her to read a relate to. Well written and enjoyably.
