Perfect Fit for My SUV Cargo Area I’ve been using the FH Group ClimaProof universal cargo mat in my SUV, and I’m very happy with it so far. Right out of the box, the mat feels sturdy and has a nice weight to it—definitely more durable than the thin liners that sometimes come with vehicles. The ribbed surface helps trap dirt, water, and debris, which has already saved my carpet from wet groceries and muddy hiking gear. The “universal fit” claim holds true, but trimming is necessary. The good news is the grid lines make it easy to cut cleanly, and it only took me about ten minutes with a pair of scissors to get it shaped to my cargo space. Once trimmed, it lies flat and doesn’t slide around thanks to the grip backing. One thing to keep in mind: because it’s heavy-duty rubber, there’s a slight rubber odor when new. Mine aired out in the garage for a day, and after that, no problem. Also, since it’s thick and stiff, it takes a little extra effort to maneuver if you’re lifting it out to clean. On the flip side, that thickness is exactly what makes it protective and long-lasting. Bottom line: A rugged, easy-to-trim cargo mat that delivers on protection and fit. Great value for anyone looking to keep their trunk clean and well protected.

Update 3/23/20: This mat has held on well for over a year now. It didn't off gas any chemical (petroleum, oil, or rubber) smells during the hot days (tinted rear trunk window might have helped). It is now being used in a Lexus RX 350 and it fits just fine. Great product! I purchased this trunk mat for my Acura RDX 2010, and it covers the cargo area completely. I didn't feel the need to trim it since it is only oversized by about 3 inches and I felt that it offers better protection against spilled liquids that way. Out of the package, the mat had a faint chemical smell from a couple feet away. After leaving it out for 3 days, the strength of the odor disappeared, unless you get your nose up close. It is winter/cold right now, so I have not had it bake inside the car, and cannot say how strong the odor will be. I will update my review if I notice a strong odor in the summer, but so far, it's a great mat at a great price.

I like this product. First impression was that it had some decent heft to it, so it wasn't super-thin or flimsy. Neither was it so thick that it was unwieldy and difficult to fit and trim. I appreciated the nubs on the bottom to help it from sliding around in the cargo area. You can see the before and after pictures. I didn't trim much and just folded over the end for additional coverage when the seats are down. Most of the trimming was around the edge of the hatch so it wouldn't cover up the latch. Some people mentioned the smell. I didn't think it was overwhelming, but did think that it would be good to have it sit in the sun for a few days. Lesson learned is to not leave it sitting on the grass. I had to move it due to our roof gettin redone and workers were in the paved area. I moved it to the grass for a day and half and it promptly killed all the grass, as you can see by the outline. I assume it is due to the chemicals in the product. Not particularly comforting, which is why I knocked it down a star, and all the more reason to let it air out for a while. On the other hand, you could probably put this on some weeds or other unwanted plants to kill them. Overall, it seems like a good product. I've already had my puppy pee on it, so I know it works and is pretty easy to clean. Recommend. EDIT on 6/30/2021: I've had this for almost 2 years and it's holding up well. Two down sides to this mat that I've noticed over time. It gets very hard/rigid in cold weather. If you're trying to lift it to access the storage/spare well under the mat, it's actually a little difficult. Also, there is very little grip. The mat is very smooth so you can expect things to slide around back there. For coverage and protection, it's just fine. For grip, look for something else. Overall, it works for me, but it's not perfect.

Others reviews has stated there was an rubber odor with this trunk mat. I only smelled a slight smell and rolled it out on the back day for 24 hours. I don't think I really need to but figured it wouldn't hurt. I bought it inside the next day and let it get warm for about an hour (it was in the lower 30s this morning and it was kind of stiff). I put it in the trunk and just used the guild lines to trim it as needed. It was pretty easy to trim with normal scissors and took less than 10 minutes. It fits really good at least to my standards. I left a little extra at the front, so when I put the rear seats down it will cover the base area. I've also included a picture of the material I trimmed away...not really very much. After letting my car sit out side for a bit (in the sun), I could smell a little rubber odor in the passenger area. It wasn't bad and I don't consider this a major issue; I'm guessing it will go away shortly. I'd considered buying one of the name-brand formed mats, but they were $125+ and this one was right around $40. Very happy with it and saved $$$. I've recommended this mat to a couple of friends already. It will work nicely just to keep things in the trunk from sliding around as much, and still leave easy access to the spare tire and tools.

It fits my 2022 Kia Telluride very well, with very little trimming needing done. With the 3rd row folded down, it covers the entire back besides about 2-3inches of the folded seats. I did have to do a bit of freehand trimming because it didn't line up perfectly on the left side. Overall though, very easy to install. It does have a rubber smell but not as bad as other reviews say. I'm 8 months pregnant and the smell doesn't bother me at all. Smell reminds me of the trampoline park, but after the first day the smell is completely gone anyway. It is thinner than regular car mats but it still seems very sturdy and it stays in place. Overall, I'm happy with it and I would definitely buy it again.

I used for my Toyota Corolla Cross 2023 model. It is a little wider by 2-3 inches per side, perfect for the length. I did not bother to cut it as it makes good cover even a but folded on side. Great value for money.

Size is perfect for honda pilot, as well as price is great. The only issue is that the rubber smell is too strong I am keeping it outdoor for few days till the smell is gone

Ordered this for my Haval H6. It about 4 inches short but this was a quarter of the price of most others. Its not supper thick but also not super thin. It has patterns you can cut out for a better fit. For the money it cost its gets 5 stars
