OrthoBed Bug Trap 0465510

I’m giving it one star from me because I feel as though this test gave me false confidence. I used it in three different places, the living rooms my roommates room, my bedroom and nothing was caught save for some winged insects I assume are either gnats or mosquitoes. So I falsely assumed no problem, must be mosquitoes biting me. Until the bites became more frequent and I was desperate for answers so I tore my room apart and finally found a bed bug beneath my mattress. I used the trap again so there’s a fresh one present but still NOTHING. I’m writing this review to deter anyone else who might buy it to find out if you have bed bugs or not. It didn’t work for me but if you want to take a chance, I’ve noticed no one else has caught one either.

After waking up with a few bites on my arms and legs I thought I would buy this product to see if I had bed bugs well I set the traps out they did not work whatsoever after looking on the internet how to identify bed bugs I found out after a thorough inspection I do have bed bugs and not one was caught in these traps. I had to give it one star or it wouldn't post on the review

We have been fighting bed bugs for a few months and its been a pain in the bottom. We have sprayed, bombed and heat treated our home and that didnt work. Got the Ortho line of things and put these down under the beds and behind the furniture where they have been spoted and in a week we have not seen any but dead ones. Thank you ORTHO for saving us more money.

I saw some evidence on sheets of possible bed bugs, so I bought 8 traps and set them to find out for sure. My dog was alerted to the smell of the traps so I know they were working. After a week and a half, did not catch anything. I called in a professional who inspected and they Definitely found bugs. So sorry to say these traps Do Not work.

I put several of these around the house. We have been dealing with bed bugs for a while and these are being used on top of other measure. As others have said the button is hard to press down and there is not click to indicate if the thing is working. One trap caught two babies and some roaches the other have not trapped anything. Bed bugs are a nightmare. Other products to that I have more confidence in include: Proof bed bug spray Ecoraider and food grade diatomaceous earth.
