The Humm- Hummingbird Feeder with dual use hanger

A great design! So easy to keep extra bottles on hand and just change out the bottle when refilling the feeder. Of course, wash out the nectar reservoir if necessary before rehanging. Did find that when screwing on the bottle that one can accidentally break the inner part of the reservoir, so be careful not to screw the bottle in too tightly.Bought 2 at first then ordered another 3. Happy!

Pros - easy clean, looks nice, hummers love it, doesn't leak while hanging unless you squeeze the water bottle on accident (recycling ones are flimsy, figured that out from experience and got covered with sugar waterCons - no ant moat built in, perches are easy to fall off - if a larger bird (or squirrel) lands on them they will go flying off - was thinking of super gluing them on - when you flip it back over to remove the bottle it pours out, use caution where you do itlove having the spare feeder port, one to use and one to wash, (and dishwasher safe on the top rack) the water bottle use is great, don't have to worry about scrubbing the reservoir .. it took a few days for them to adjust to the new feeder, kept looking at it like what is this thing and flying over to one of my other feeders.. but after a while they adjusted to it.. and seem to use it a lot now.. would love a built in ant moat can make it a bit longer and put a depression cup on top.. or added to the hanger... then it would be almost perfect

I am a very serious hummingbird feeder. I have lots of feeders, and spend lots of time cleaning feeders. This would be ideal if it wasn't made so flimsy. I tried the feeder with a 16 oz water bottle, It did not leak. I just wish it was made sturdier. It does not come with an s hook, the hook is not the best but I will change it with an s hook. I would pay more for a feeder like this if it was made to last longer and not so cheaply made.

I have 2 of these and previously rated that I loved them. The hummingbirds do love them, the only issue, ants, bees and wasps. I had to remove both of my feeders as they are instantly covered in bees every time I hang them. Plus ants actually can get up and into the bottle, together the combination can prove deadly for our hummers, so I took them down and threw them in the trash.

I will buy again. I previously bought this item and love it. The hummer syrup stays longer because the container is covered. Perfect item. I have happy hummers!!!

I think this is a fantastic idea, but needs some work. I really wanted to like this feeder, but it’s very difficult to find a bottle that fits (finally got Kroger brand water bottles to work) and they still leak. Hummingbirds are not using this feeder unfortunately.

I love being able to swap out the bottles, with one prepared with sugar solution waiting in the 'fridge. It is clever to have dual modes of mounting it--either hanging or with the suction cups attached to a window. The base is very easy to clean. It is true that the little red plastic flowers and the perches come off rather too easily. I sometimes have to look for them on the ground to replace them on the feeder. Overall, an outstanding design.
