Crysto 3-Foot Retractable Cable Password Lock

This lock does what I need it to do. I lock my stroller to a chair at a waterpark. The cord is long and it’s easy to set combination. The only thing is once you lock it, the button that releases the wire never “locks” in place. Wasn’t a deal breaker for me. It’s lightweight and seems to sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. Very light and small, easy to put on pocket when ski. Also easy to use, just need to bundle ski and pole on ski holder by steel rope, and then lock it. When we need to unlock it, just need to adjust input code and then press bButton and the it would unlock. Also it inner side have spring structure, that would be easy to restore the rope. Its locker structure is robust ice, little hard to broken by hand. But rope diameter is too thinner, can use tolerance to cut it.

Keep in mind the cable is short...but all these types are. Of course, someone with a simple wire cutter could cut it one second...So it is more for everyday locking while shopping to stop kids from taking, peace of mind, not hard-core theft protection. One yard is functional but remember when wrapping it around the bike to a post, that means really 1.5 feet of cable to the post and 1.5 back...so the tube of the bike needs to be within 1.5 feet of the post to complete the cycle! I attached this lock to the front area of the bike so when parking, the front tube area is always able to get within 1.5 feet...so it works. I suggest to attach it to the bike instead of taking it in and out of a bag....also turning the little combo buttons is a bit difficult. But overall, it functions perfectly.

I used this lock to secure my snowboard during a break on the mountain. The lock jammed up and would not unlock even after putting in the code repeatedly. I gave it a tug and it easily broke, this was my first time using it. Not a good lock.

Glad I got this item and able to wrap mine n two of my buddies board somewhere safe.

The cable is plenty long enough to loop through your bike frame and around a tree or whatever if you have to get creative to lock your bike up. Three digits are good enough to deter most thieves, as long as you don't set the code to something silly like 1 2 3. Make sure you pick something you will remember!

I bought this to try and secure a 2 door cabinet. However once you set your code you can still extend or retract the cable. Nice set of cables if you're trying to secure an item to something else. However it didn't work for my use.
