What you should keep in mind when buying first readers like this is that they are made very very easy. So the episodes that are taken from are made extremely simple, so that all the words are appropriate for preschool and kindergarten kids who are first learning to read.If you want readers that more closely follow that episodes of the shows you need to get 2nd or 3rd readers with more complicated words and a longer story in general.These books are perfect to get reluctant readers interested in reading by using something they already love. This is not really the type of book you'd sit down and read to your kids, but if it starts to spark an interest in reading early, it could work that way as well.So if you have a first time reader that loves Bubble Guppies, try this book. It just might spark a real interest in reading in the future.

This is a great book to start young readers on. My son is currently 2.5 years old, however, he will sit and listen to this book from cover to cover. Also, from reading it nightly, he has started to pick up on the words and is repeating them as we read. I would recommend this book for any child from ages 2 on as it will start with you reading to them, to eventually being a great book from them to start reading with.

Cute book with colorful pictures. My 2 year old loves to watch Bubble Guppies. He wants me to read this one over and over so it passed his short attention span test. This book will be great when he starts to read on his own.

My 2 year old loves trucks and to watch Bubble Guppies. A decent amount of detail to the story. Glad I purchased.

My 2 year old is obsessed with the Bubble Guppies, and Humunga-truck is his favorite episode. This book is based on that episode, and he loves it! The story is short and will be good when he starts reading by himself.

My 3 year old LOVES Bubble Guppies. This is perfect. Coincides well with the episode. I will catch her sometimes off in a corner reading it out loud to herself.
