I use it to carry ladders on my work truck and the thickness of the metal is perfect for the purpose.

Easy installation. Seems very solid. Minus one star because the included sealant was dried out and solid.

It will do the job for a relatively decent price.Seems pretty sturdy.The silicone tubes privided were hard as a rock. I bought what was probably better quality silicone.Installation was easy.A couple of things worth mentioning.-Silicone the crap at the point where the rack meets the roof. I know that shouldn't need to be said-Silicone the joint/seam on the crossbar where you tighten the set screw- I added longer/wider retention plates on the inside of the camper shell where the bolts protrude through. The footprint of plates provided just seemed inadequate.

I was worried I would receive some cheapo bar set for this amount but they are actually very good. No leaks when installed as they ask to be installed. 2 limiting factors, the bar is SOO wide. you cannot place any type of bungee hook on it or strap hooks. I originally had a nice square steel rack on my van that were only about an 1" square, I actually ran a tie down strap from the front of the ladder to the back for the largest ladder and used bungees to attach the smaller ones on top. These bars are like 2" round so there is no strap hook that can fit around it limiting your tie down options to the hooks on the side. Also make note that the design disallows the full width of your vehicle. It would be nice if they had some top bar design so you could easily grab another 6" from each side but the bars stop at the attachment points. So expect to have a much more narrow rack than you are used to. I once made one out of 3/4" electrical conduit that would easily support and was wide enough for a piece of plywood. Could not stretch this to 4'. Really though I've worked around these things and have a great rack that holds what I really need it to. I would certainly recommend for a home owner with a topper and a small business start up.

This is a great product ! Racks are sturdy and was easy to install.. Can't beat the price and will definitely recommend to my friends !
