Best light I have owned, survives a fall, but the bracket could use a thicker gasket.
Everything they describe is accurate. The light is very bright, the battery lasts for a long while especially if you use it on lower levels. My biggest problem was that the mounting bracket was a bit loose, i added a millimeter thick piece of plastic between the bracket and the gasket and it works perfectly now. The ability to charge a phone or other device turned out useful for about 10 percent charge on a phone (good for emergencies) while the light dropped around 30 percent. I have recharged it a dozen times or so now so i feel i have enough experience to write this review. I love the different modes as it gives me a great option when I dont really need extra light but I want to be seen. Its also great for a power outage and camping light. It did fall out of the mount once when i was riding at high speeds, and the case is absolutely made from aluminum as it did get a few dings, but it survived the fall with no issues other than some dings and scratches. The charge number indicator isnt perfectly accurate, but its close. on high it goes down about 1 percent a minute which gives you about an hour 40 minutes to enjoy per charge. I usually charge it between 15 and 80% to help the battery last more battery cycles, but it doesnt seem to have any issue as it is. I have no idea if its able to have its battery replaced, but it might be possible since its screwed in.

Very bright lights with multiple modes for night riding
These lights are impressively bright and definitely improve visibility at night. The multiple lighting modes are useful depending on conditions, and USB recharging is convenient. The rear light adds an extra layer of safety. Pros: very bright, rechargeable, multiple modes Cons: battery life depends on brightness setting; front light is a bit bulky Bottom line: Strong choice for night riding if you want visibility and safety.

Super Bright and attachment hardware hold light well.
Well built, rechargeable, very bright, and has solid connection hardware. My ebike has a headlight (obviously) but isn't bright enough for me. This fit the bill.

Is It Bright Or Not ?
Hi all, here is my review of the Victagen Bike Light. First the cons; the supplied rear red led light is nice and bright with three modes of function, but the rubber mounting strap broke when I attempted to install it. Now the pros; the main feature is the handle bar head light. Is it bright, WOW I can't say enough this headlight is super bright no joke! I'm big on led lights and brightness is always the biggest issue. This head light is three times brighter than some of the best hiking headlamps. The headlight has three modes of brightness, and at night I will say it's too bright on the highest setting for roadway use. I had cars flashing me their high beams, so that should confirm to you that this is the real deal. I would suggest being seen but maybe turning the beam toward the roadway more but that is your choice. This would be an excellent off road trail light for sure. The mount is plastic but secured firmly to my handle bars. The quick release allows you to remove the light and take with you, which is good to prevent theft and for use as a personal touch flashlight to hike the trail on foot. The build of the headlight is made of a very well constructed heavy weight aluminum housing. It has a cool led readout screen giving you the battery level. Battery life was tested and yielded right about 3hrs at on a full charge and at highest setting. The rear housing offers a quick access usb recharge port. This headlight is a must buy at it's excellent price point. Five stars from me.

Poor battery life
Purchased as it is bright and advertised an 8 hour battery life. After multiple rides, it does last even 3 hours in flashing mode. This puts me at risk of not being seen, I count on a bright flashing light for the duration of my ride which are normally 3.5 to 4 hours will have to replace with a better light, do NOT recommend.

Great product for night cyclists
TL;DR: I love this light except for the non-rechargeable twin CR2032 batteries rear light part. Pros: ++ USB-C chargeable, which is very important to me because I’ve decided to eliminate asymmetric ports (like micro-usb and usb-A) from my life. ++ Sufficient brightness even at the lowest setting for me, and the flash light is an added bonus. ++ Long battery life, especially given that the lowest brightness setting is sufficient. I ride 3-4 times a week for nearly 2 hours each, and a quarter to a half of that is in the dark, so I’m guessing I only have to recharge it every couple weeks (depending on its idle battery drain). ++ Also a power bank; weird but hey, why not! ++ Small form factor and although it’s heavy, the weight it adds is worth it for the light it gives; plus it can be easily slid off and left at home if not needed. ++ Digital battery life indicator, which keeps my battery anxiety levels low. Cons: — The rear light takes 2 CR2032 batteries, which is a pain because you need to replace them (though from the other reviews, their life seems fairly long). — The light appears to take only low-wattage usb-c adapters but does not charge at all if plugged into a high wattage (much over 15-20W), so the usb-c is not really “universal”, but this is an annoyance that seems characteristic of all Victagen usb-c lights and one that I don’t mind putting up with given its pros.

Pretty Impressive
My first impression was the build quality. I was really expecting something cheap, but I was really impressed on the design and feel. It arrived already charged, so kudos on that. It has a really solid feel to it. The light output is very bright. It's better than most of my LED flashlights I own around the house. I like the different light modes it has. I've never seen a bike light with a fog light, so I'm not sure how that is going to work. I haven't tested the battery longevity yet, but I plan on doing a night ride in the near future. I'll update this review once I test it. As of now, I think you get a lot of bang for your buck on this product. UPDATE: I have done a couple of evening rides with this light and it has performed as expected. I rode about 45 minutes and tried different light modes. The battery is still in the upper eighties on the charge, so it's performing very well. You'll have no problem riding this at night. I actually had a person in the park complain how bright the light was. I also rode my bike on the road and it illuminates very well on the pavement.
