That said, these were cheaper than my Toachi 2's, but not a lot. I never bought Teva sandals because of a cheap price anyway and these leave you wanting. I paid 70 dollars for these and 90 dollars for my Toachi's. I'd rather be able to buy new Toachi's but Teva doesn't make really nice sandals anymore or anything in leather. Toachi or otherwise. Now they don't even have half sizes and that's why I bought these when I did. They don't even make these anymore. The soles and foot-bed are okay but the Velcro straps are very thin. Too thin for 70 dollar sandals. More like 30 dollar sandal straps and I don't believe they'll have a long life. Another problem with modern Teva.What was really nice about the Toachi's was the air heel and these are the last to have it. That's why I bought them. I have Toachi 1's and 2's and both are over 10 years old and the leather is staring to get stiff, so I don't know how much longer they will last.I also have a pair of all leather Fossil Canyons that were the same price as these, and are almost double the sandal.Update: I went to put these in the closet and guess what I found. A brand new pair of Toachi's and a brand new pair of Fossil Canyons new in the box. And 11 1/2. I don't even need these new ones. Sometimes, when I buy something and really like it, I'll buy two; one for the rainy day. And apparently I did in this case for both of them 10 years ago. I can't believe I spent 240 dollars in one shot on sandals. But I'm very glad I did. By the time I even need these pair, Teva will either be fixed or bankrupt. Se La VieUpdate: That being said, I did buy another pair and started wearing these. I do like the air heel and they're comfortable and fit well. I like the black. So, we'll see just how long these do last and I'll update this at the end of the Summer. I don't like having to fit them everytime I put them on, or the rubber footbed however. My feet sweat to them, but blowing air such as my motorcycle and air conditioning in the car is enough to keep them dry. Until the next time. Keep in mind, I use these instead of sneakers and don't do any off road hiking in them. The soles wouldn't lend themselves to that and it's pretty obvious. I don't know why anyone would.End of Summer update: I like them. They fit really well 11 1/2 and match my tan lines from my other sandals. At first the hurt my feet, but broke in quickly. I really like the black and the air soles for your heals work very well. The tread is showing no wear so they're good for next year. But, I wear sandals all the way to the end and it's almost November. I upped these to 5 stars. But I will stand by my original review.

The last time I bought this model I ordered a half size down and it was perfect. This time the sandal seems slightly shorter; still covers the toes but arch feels different.

I’ve had these sandals three times now. This will be the third time. I’ve had them in about eight years. They’re comfortable they last a long time but most of all I enjoy the fact that I can get them again and again. They’re fantastic for running around doing errands, going to the gym even riding your bike. There’s no doubt I’ll buy these again when this pair wears out.

This is my second pair of Teva sandals. I wear these almost every day from spring to fall. I have foot problems and these give me great support and comfort. I can walk for long distances in any terrain without any pain or discomfort. I still have my old ones and will continue to use.

I absolutely LUV this sandal ! It is very comfortable and offers great arch support. The sole is thick enough that you don't feel anything when walking on gravel or rocks. The thickness of the sole, along with the upward "tilt" of the toe keeps sand from easily "coming over the top" when walking on the beach or sandy soil. I always buy them 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size because it helps protect my toes by bringing them back about 1/2" (13mm) from the front edge. If there is one weak point, I would say it is the rear strap velcro in one small area (which is hard to explain) - see photo. It does NOT keep the strap from staying fastened. Overall, I highly recommend this sandal.Update July 11, 2023: After more closely looking at the rear strap velcro, I realized it is NOT the rear strap velcro that is the problem. The problem is the hole/loop that that strap feeds through - the inside diameter is TOO SMALL. When pulling the strap out of the loop, the thick velcro snags/catches on the loop, eventually pulling the velcro from the strap. The inside diameter of the loop needs to be bigger (at least a 3-4 mm bigger) so the velcro strap more easily slides through the loop. I've tried filing with a small file but a Dremel tool would be much easier and precise.Update Friday, September 8, 2023: Finally took these to a shoe repair shop. They were able to replace the small diameter plastic loop with a larger diameter metal loop. They also replaced the velcro. It cost $25 but worth it to me. See picture.

Works as advertised

They have a slight break in, but then they are extremely comfortable. I like them so much I bought two back up pairs.

Wonderfully comfortable. Light on the feet. Easy to wear.

These sandals are everything they said and more. We are in and out of the water and walking everywhere. They are comfortable, strong and have great support. They are very good quality for the price. I highly recommend buying them.

Very comfortable but unfortunately not up to the usual durability I've come to expect from other Tevas. 2 of the straps began tearing, separating the sole from the upper. I contacted Teva but they didn't want to know as warranty had just expired. I will not be buying this model again.

Sharp corners on inside straps rubbing and creating blisters. No quick release buckle.
