There seemed to be some cheaper options out there. But I went for this because it had good reviews.This is great. I think its good value for money. Easy installation, comfort is great. Its pretty sturdy. The folding mechanism is also pretty smooth.Overall a good one

These are incredibly sturdy and are level with the desk. Makes so you can sit normally with elbows down and now shoulder extension. Fantastic for office work to prevent over use injury.

We tried a couple of the less expensive ones offered here. But the quality (or lack thereof) showed. This one came fully assembled... and is much sturdier than its less expensive competitors. And it is padded, which makes it nice. Hubby is a gamer and was having pain in his arm, realized it was likely from holding his left arm up when playing, so tried this and it really helps.

I love this thing so much that I bought two. One for my desk at home and one for my desk at work. I love that I can rest my whole arm on something while using a mouse and keyboard. "But you're just lazy!" NO! I HAVE CHRONIC PAIN AND FATIGUE! It's a great accommodation! Also, practically effortless to set up. I highly recommend to any office worker who struggles with pain and/or fatigue.

The clamps are not as well made as the shelf itself, but they can be made to work. Or, the clamps can be removed, and the shelf can be bolted or screwed onto the desk edge, which would be extremely strong. Mine fell off the desk twice before I looked at my options. The shape of it is quite usable. My breakfast sits on the small end.

Sturdy and level with top of desk. I do wish they made a more narrow version of this.

UPDATE: I just ordered a third one. I have 3 computers in a horseshoe and now I can't turn and use a computer without having this armrest in all 3 directions.ORIGINAL:I didn't even know something like this existed until I wanted to work out of my camper van and realized I was going to be in alot of pain if I didn't get my arm properly propped up. It arrived and I thought, oh no, this is waaay too heavy for my little van table. I didn't think it would work for my regular work desk, because I don't have a clean edge, but I did get it to work. I had jury-rigged pads onto the arm of my desk chair all these years, but once I mounted this pad - it was awesome! Bye bye silly padding on my desk chair arm! My "mousing" arm and shoulder are so happy now! Easy to mount, sturdy, comfortable and easy to collapse.
