Frame can be shaped for easier inserting (under the airplane seat). Has mesh top so you can see your pet from the top. Stable.
I looked at several different carriers, and settled for this one afterward. It fits Southwest airline. The top is mesh (so I can see my pet while sitting in my seat). The frame is made of steel wire, which is hard enough to keep the shape yet can be shaped to fit (I bent the back frame to have a smaller frame to make it easier to slide it under the seat). My 13-lbs Shi-tzu is 12-inch high, and 18-inch from the tip of the front leg to the end of her butt (fold the tail in). She could fit in the bag just fine, and could actually turn around herself while inside the bag.The only thing I wish it has is more mesh surfaces. This bag only has 3 mesh surfaces: front, left side, and top.

Good price, good construction, cats love it but not super big
It's less money than the traditional plastic-with-thick-bars-in-the-front carrier AND it's less than many of the other 'soft' carriers. With the arrival of two new kitties, I bought this one for around twenty and the cats love it - well as much as a cat can love a carrier. There is not a lot of room for them to move around so I'm not sure if they will outgrow it though. I bought a more expensive soft carrier and couldn't get it constructed so returned it. I also bought one of the traditional plastic-y ones (as I needed a case stat after the other soft one didn't work) and while there is more room for them to move around, they bite on the bars, try to get out and overall don't appear to be as much at 'ease' at they are with this one.

Good quality, tight but ok fit for large cats
I like how it unzips and can be folded neatly away when on in use. Nice design, good quality especially for the low price. I do have a couple of large cats (12-14lbs) and it’s a tight fit but for short trips to the vet or short car rides, it’s just fine. Cats like small spaces anyway.

The carrying straps are sturdy, and the shoulder strap is removable if you ...
My kittens would probably give this a 5 star review, as they choose to sleep in, and on, it instead of in their very comfy bed. I gave it 4, because it does partially collapse on an end if you use the end zippers to open it. As shown in the photo, it keeps its shape and is strong enough to allow both of them to sleep on top without collapsing. There is an handy open pocket on one end. The carrying straps are sturdy, and the shoulder strap is removable if you prefer to only use the handle-type straps. Both ends zip open, as well as the side. There's a nice fleecy board for the bottom that is also removable, and it wipes clean. I might put a washable cover on it if the kittens continue to want to sleep in it. Eventually, I will need two of these carriers, but one is plenty roomy for two kittens.

Excellent value! Great construction
Excellent value! Great construction, light-weight and durable. I could've stuffed my 8-year old cat into the old carrier I had, but he would've JUST fit with no real room to maneuver, plus I would have had to literally stuff him in, because he wasn't getting in willingly. After I unfolded the PetTall, he jumped right in and even now uses it for napping. When I first got him outside in the carrier he was not happy and tried to escape. The mesh was sturdy enough to prevent a breach. Once he got to the Vet, he curled up and lay down. When I got him back home, it took him several moments before he realized he could actually get out. He loves it, I love it. You can carry it with the straps or sling it over your shoulder, and the animal has a good view. Either end opens, but I prefer the top opening, because you can just drop 'em in. Lots of zippers and pockets for documents! Highly recommended!

Great Product
My two older cats had outgrown their current carriers, but I had been putting off buying new ones. After using these just once I really wish I hadn't waited. I have one cat who suffers from high anxiety and just getting her in her old carrier usually took about 20 minutes and earned me a few new scratches. The top load option on this carrier allowed me to get her in quickly with no anxiety or scratching. The carriers also allowed ample room for them to be comfortable (one cat is 12 pounds and the other is 10 pounds.) The material and construction of the carriers also seems sturdy and will hold up well for the occasional visits to the vet. Maneuvering with the carriers was slightly difficult but possible while I was carrying them both at the same time. I think if I only had one to worry about it would have been much easier. Would definitely recommend this product for the price.

Very nice carrier for my ferret!
I bought this carrier for my ferret and it's perfect for him. It has plenty of space for him so he isn't stuck in such a small space for a long time. The carrier itself is made very well and of good material. There's mesh on the side as well as one of the ends for the animal to get air and to be able to see out of the carrier. There's also some pockets for carrying things for your animal on the carrier itself. I bought this on sale but would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a carrier for their small animal at normal price as it's well made and worth the price.

I love the ability to remove foam insert so you can ...
I ordered the medium. There is an insert for kitty to sit on and have carpet to hold on to. I love the ability to remove foam insert so you can wash the carpet liner. It collapses nicely and was big enough for my cat. He is only a year and is pretty tiny for his age. This would have been too small for my big cat. He was a tubby, fully grown boy (13 lbs) and would have been squished. Laying on your lap felt like you had on a blanket. My little guy could stand and turn around just fine.

Cheap and not sturdy enough
Flimsy and bad quality mesh. Everything moved around without an animal in. Can only imagine how flimsy it would have been with a cat inside. Returned.
