Tanwise Sunless Tanning Lotion

This product is better than a lot of other tanning lotions out there. First off, the tan skin color that I get from this lotion is a lot more of a natural brown than many of the other self tanner lotions out there on the market. I used to use the L'Oreal sublime glow because it was very potent and gave me the immediate boost of color I was looking for. Looking back though, the color was too orange and unnatural and I also despised the smell.This product gives you a deep brown color but I apply this product with lotion to lighten up the color/ apply it correctly without the streaks. If you don't use lotion you will wind up with a brown streaky mess. That said, it is a little annoying that I have to add my lotion to this product (which take a little extra time to work into my skin) but it does give a great color and for the price, you can't beat this product. It just takes a little more time to apply than other products since the consistency is already applicable. Just make sure you put something on your hands or they will get a very dark brown color. Try using nail polish remover to remove the brown off your hands afterwards. Another reason I really like this tanning lotion is that it doesn't smell! It has a subtle smell that I don't mind at all. Other tanning lotions have those gross smells.I definitely recommend trying this self-tanner for a sun-less natural brown color, without the added smells!

I used this tanning lotion after every shower and it gives a nice natural tan color to my very pale skin. You have to wear gloves or a mitt with this product or your fingers will be horribly stained since there is a bronzer in it. I use disposable gloves each time and it works perfectly. If you do get some on your fingers then scrub them with baking soda and it won't be as noticeable. When my skin is on the drier side, I use a little bit of body oil first and then this product and that helps it to not be blotchy. I noticed that using some body oil in between showers helps to make my skin look even nicer with this sunless tan. I also make sure to exfoliate with a scrub once a week if there are any spots with buildup.

This is the only self tanning lotion that I have found that I keep using. It still smells, but only a little. Nothing like most self tanning lotions or sprays. I apply it with gloves just out of the shower. The color is pretty much instant and it stays on for 2-3 days. It's a natural looking tan an it's easy to apply and spread evenly. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I wish they would come up with one that had no odor at all. But this still just has a minimum odor.

I did get OK results when I applied using plastic gloves... but this stuff is just a streaky, nasty mess. Color was 'pretty' for about a day and then wore off immediately. I wanted to love this and I tried - applying it several different times but it's just gross. I found love with Rodan + Fields Sunless Tanning Foam - it is SO exceptional, light, easily applied, dries almost instantly, gorgeous color, layers really nice.. I could go on - go find someone who sells it and buy that instead. Sorry Tanwise, this is just too messy and time consuming to apply.

I love this product and am so happy I bought it. Tanning in tanning beds and in the sun can be harmful, so this lotion is a great alternative. It comes out very dark already, so the instant color helps you know where to spread out the color and rub it in. I used it, let it dry, slept on it, and then showered in the morning and the color looks natural and awesome. Even parts where I thought it was streaky came out fine. The smell is also pleasant. The only downside is the price, but I think it is worth it and I will be buying again.

I think they changed the formula. I bought this in 2016 and it gave me a perfect light tan. This time my tan was a bit orange and TOO dark. I would not buy again.

This actually works really well. But in order to get it to run in completely I have to put it in with my regular lotion. And definitely want to put lotion on hands and feet (and knees and elbows) before applying.

Horrible. I have used many self tanners over the last 10 years and i am shocked at the good reviews that this received. The only good thing is the smell. It is thick and green and hard to rub in. It didn't make me any darker than Banana Boat deep bronze and was 3 times the price and ALOT harder to put on.
