One knife had a default

Not scalpel sharp like I read they would be
I returned the knife set. I was not happy with the sharpness of the knives. One of the knives did not cut through a piece of salmon like butter like I expected. The block looked beautiful in my kitchen and I was sad to return them.

Very nice but...
Always love global knives,this is a first time for the block.the whole set overall is really nice.i really dont care for the block.feels cheaply made and rattles but for something thats stationary thats not an issue.my only gripe is that the stainless steel feet is starting to rust.the block sits about 4 feet from the sink,so it doesnt get splash on.For the amount of money that your paying i would think that they put a little more quality into it.i ended up just cleaning it the base and spraying the base with just highgloss black paint(4 coats)
