Nordic Ware Heritage Bundt 6 Cup, Gold

My review hinges upon knowing that you need to use cake goop with intricate bundt pans. Whisk equal parts vegetable oil, melted vegetable shortening, and flour together until smooth. Store in a jar at room temperature for, like ever (honestly I'm sure it could go bad eventually I've just never seen it happen). When it comes time to bake anything 8n your fabulous new Bundt pan, paint the cake goop on liberally before pouring in your batter and bake as your recipe demands.Any Bundt pan review is necessarily going to be affected by the reviewer's knowledge of this step. Sure you can use sprays or whatever, they just are never going to be as consistent as making your own cake goop. Cake will fall out beautifully every time.That being said, this Bundt pan is gorgeous. It's 6-cup size is perfect for smaller things like a banana bread or a pound cake that you intend to hoard or share with just your partner. The swirl is so simply elegant that, if I didn't already own a gorgeous 10-cup in a magnolia pattern, I'd be buying the bigger one too.It's sturdy, the gold color looks great enough to store it as a wall decoration in your kitchen, and the clean up is reasonable for such a fancy design. Soft sponge to get all the way down into the crevices, which are only a little bit annoying to clean. Totally worth it for such a gorgeous pan.Use cake goop and you'll always get a beautiful, petite little cake out of this, without ever being tempted to ruin it by cleaning it with anything abrasive. Don't do that, and it'll last you a lifetime.

This pan is beautiful. I love Nordic Ware pans and this bundt is no exception. Great size. I have a coupling designs in this “half” size for splitting traditional Bundt recipes and making the half sizes in the Nordic Ware website..I have never had an issue with any of the recipes coming out with a crisp design. Spray liberally with baking flour/butter.

This is a nice Bundt pan. It has excellent weight for balanced heat distribution. The light color is great for perfect browning. It makes a cute small Bundt cake for about 4 people. I wish that it was a bit larger. That’s why I rated it a 4 instead of a 5. It’s worth having it in your cabinet.

Huge fan of NordicWare products ... but I JUST noticed something on the wrapper of this item when it arrived:"Do NOT use regular cooking-spray on this pan"It is recommended to use butter-and-flour, and OKAY to use baking-spray with FLOUR IN IT ALREADY-- BUT NOT "just cooking spray"!

It was easy to remove the cake, and easy to clean. I love that it feels like a "real" pan. It is not at all flimsy and holds it shape well.

This has always been on my to buy list. And I finally bought it. I love the cuts that this bundt pan has in it.Nordicware makes some quality pans. They are sturdy and last forever. These are some pans that you could pass onto family.You can bake some amazing cake with this pan. With the cuts this one has, with the drizzles of ganache and icing that you can run up, down, and around the cuts. I can't wait for the holiday parties coming up to do some baking with this pan. The fun with this pan is the flipping out. Once the cake has cooled and you flip it over and lift the pan off. Awe, amazing. Such joy you feel seeing all your work pop out on the otherside of the pan. Love that.Time to start gathering up all my ingredients to start my holiday baking. Thanks Nordicware and Amazon

I used this bake a mimosa Bundt cake. It looked and tasted great! The pan is made of heavy aluminum with an attractive gold exterior finish and a non-stick interior finish. I use baking spray with flour and had no issue releasing the cake from the pan. Cleanup is also pretty easy.
