Serta Torrence Futon, Charcoal

If you have reasonable expectations for the comfort level of a futon, you’ll be so glad you bought this! We purchased this a year ago for our daughters playroom, and it has held up amazingly well. The mechanisms all work great, it’s very easy to convert, And it is comfortable to sit on. This product has stood the test of time and is probably the best looking futon we found while we were shopping. Highly recommend!

Love this futon. It being a Serta product I knew it would be comfortable. Perfect addition to my den.

(Update made on 5-14-24 )My mom bought this in 2016 and it lasted till 2022. lasted longer than we thought for a cheap little couch to just throw in a room was used a lot by little cousins and big friends. It took it’s beating pretty well kind of uncomfortable but I mean, I couldn’t get people to not sit in it so. by the end of its life, it was basically falling apart which honestly it’s a solid couch for the price and it’s just a little cheap couch. one of the legs broke like the first two weeks I had it but just do some superglue and then we never had a problem again other than that it was like a solid couch. I can’t complain. I had a couple friends sleep on it. Honestly they slept on worse they say. I’ve been looking at small couches to replace the one my mom bought. And honestly I think I’m just gonna buy the same couch but in gray we bought it in blue a while back. it’s just reliable if you expect the problems then you know how to prevent them when it finally comes the second time I’m just gonna pre-superglue the legs in and I’ll just make them so they don’t fall off to start with.

Advertised as a "double" not even close. This is a twin at best. "All wood construction" nothing in the description does it say it comes with plastic legs. Very disappointed in the size and the plastic legs. They are very thin and I see them breaking very easily. Over all the fabric is nice, easy to fold up and down just very misleading in the advertising about size and material. Going to give it a try, have no choice at this point. Bought it for my 2 little nephews to sleep on but I guess only 1 will be using it. They are 4 and 6 but there is no way both of them will fit on it.

For the price it is nice, could use more cushioning. Not comfortable to sit or lay on. Where it folds down is hard on the middle and I've had it a few weeks and the cushioning is already getting flat. It's serving a purpose until I can afford a sofa or sectional It does sit a little lower, which I like, because my two dogs are small and it's easy for them to jump on and off. When I get a sofa, this will become their sofa. Definitely a temporary use item. No assembly except screw the legs on, pretty light which is good because I can't lift anything heavy. Nice looking piece just needs more cushioning. Comfort is low, horrible.

It's perfect for an on the move lifestyle.
