These hair bands were great for me because they are colorful, unique, and extremely well-made. I stop wearing hair ties because they were unattractive and they caused my long hair to become tangled into knots. These hairbands allow me to sleep with your hair bands on and wake up without tangles in my hair. It’s really great not having spent 20 minutes coming out tangles in the morning when I first got up. I decided to let my hair grow at 72 years old and have a pony tail. The rubber bands kept breaking so I saw this on Amazon. They work really good for holding my pony tail and putting it on, but what I mainly use them for now is as a decorative wrist band. They look very cool!! A few buddies of mine saw it on my wrist and asked where they could get them? It was easier for me to just order them on Amazon and give them away to them. I think I have ordered them 3 or 4 times now, as I can use them for my hair and also as a wrist bracelet also. Joe Meyer

I really wanted to like these simple hair ties but the truth is they are annoying & have no strength. I have thick hair & these just didn’t cut it. They kept slipping out & didn’t hold my hair up. I could only get them to tie around 2 times and that’s not enough strength to hold my hair. An attempt to try 3 ties feels like they’ll break. I gave them to a friend with straight thin hair & they had the same problem. I love the fact they’re a non profit organization but the bottom line is the product needs work. They make cool bracelets though so thumbs up to that.

I have very thick wavy hair that I have been growing out for awhile. I am not a novice to the hair tie game and usually go through a cycle of buying the regular black one made of thick hair and then abusing them by forcing them in my hair or on my wrist until the rubber shows through and they snap. I have been using these for one month constantly! I mean I took it out of the package and put it in my hair and I haven’t had it off of my body since. I’m really happy with the way that these hold my hair and more importantly the way that they come out of my hair which is to say that they pull any of it out when I take them off. I have attached a photo of the one that I have been using and although it has been fading a bit it is still going strong. The company seems wonderful and I feel good about giving my money to a small business that helps to empower others. I was hesitant about the price but I don’t think I’ll be buying anything other than these hair bands ever again!

The description says you can wear them in the pool and machine washable but they’re no different not than other ribbon hair ties. Doesn't seem like they will be very sturdy, likely to get stretched out quickly. That being said, they look nice and colors are bright. I like that they support a good cause. Not a bad purchase but the product itself is not special and the description really plays it up.

While these men's hair bands are nice to look at, and they are comfortable, they are not built to last. The material is thin, and they are only sewn together with a single stitch. Other bands, at similar pricing, with similar designs, are more heavily stitched, made with thicker, or durable material. I've used these a few times, but feel that they're going to break easily, or the stitching is going to come undone. I bought a 100 pack of black bands made out of better material for the same price as these three. I was hoping that these were going to be as good quality as my other hair bands, but I'm sad to say they're not. I really liked the designs on these, and that's about the only good thing about them. I'll use them until they wear out or break, but I won't buy them again. I've reviewed other bands that are built with superior material, and built to last.

I am always looking for cool hair paraphernalia. I love these poneytail holders! Great colors and patterns! Elastic does not pull hair and has great “hold-a-bility” (I think I just made up that word, but this is a flipping awesome poneytail holder for my moderately heavy hair). And get this———this is so awesome—-this company employs refugees, giving those less fortunate a chance to live a prosperous life!
