I really like there's a place for the batteries - the last thermometer we had the batteries leaked and ruined the inside. Since it is so rarely used, it's nice to remove the batteries when in storage. I think it is about 2 degrees off - maybe? - but that's easy to add back in.

Easy and fast to use

I was initially convinced that the thermometer I ordered didn't work, as the forehead readings I got were several degrees wrong. Zoe+Ruth responded right away by offering to send a replacement. I wrote back to them when I was having similar problems with the replacement unit. I was embarrassed when they figured out that the problem was user error - I wasn't toggling between "Room/Object" mode and "Forehead" mode. The second unit works beautifully! The first one actually is less accurate, so I'm returning that one.Bottom line: I think it's a very good design, and the company seems to really stand behind it's product.

Gives me the same reading 5 times so it's probably pretty accurate. The room temperature function is nice too. Easy to use. Point and shoot.Wish it gave 2 decimals for the price. Kind of hard to hold and use on yourself since it's got a bulky handle. Really more for other people using on you I guess but I'm immuno-compromised so I wanted something I could use daily without having to disinfect more than the handle.Works well enough for my purposes but It should be easier to hold.

I have tried other forehead thermometers that don’t work anywhere near as well. I find that it is the most accurate when you point it at your temple rather than your forehead. It is almost always within a degree of the rectal temp, unlike other brands that are 2-3 off from the the actual temp. I also love that I can take my child’s temp while he is sleeping and that it doesn’t wake him up.

I love the thermometer. It's so easy to use and can be used for many things. It's very fast and accurate.But i am not happy with the case that it came with for storing. The case is white plastic and it does not snap shut like it should. It doesn't even stay closed at all as a matter of fact. So i love the thermometer, but the case is basically crap because it doesn't serve it's function. I'm gonna have to use a rubber band to keep it closed for traveling. You would think with such a top line high price product that the case would actually be decent and nice too.

Very sturdy and accurate thermonitor. We tested the room temperature which was accurate. It also seems to work fine holding it away but close to the forehead. A great advantage to someone sleeping and you want to check on them but not wake them. The only problem I have is opening the nice case it comes with.
