I bought this for my son's new car. We could not get a dashboard mount kit to work with his car as they would not stick on properly and constantly fell off due to the weight of his phone. I tried this vent mount and it worked perfectly. It is very secure and still allows for him to adjust the vent direction but is very secure and allows him to mount his phone without blocking his back up camera screen. It is a great value for the price and I am glad we found a solution for his new car. Also, the holder charges his phone, which is very convenient. I don't think you will be disappointed with this product at all!

I needed a solution for our Mazda. If you have one, you know there aren't many good places to mount a phone without blocking access or the view of something else. One of the ideal spots is in fact right in front of the vent.I've tried vent clips before and had mixed results, mostly med or poor. But I saw the mechanism with this vent clip where you place it first, then tighten slowly until everything tightens up. The mount clip spans 3 vent slats, and the cushion / pad tightens down nicely and firmly.In the Mazda, the convenience 12v outlet is low on the passenger side, which makes it a little out of the way to go fishing for the cable each time you get in the car. With this wireless mount, no longer an issue. connected the wire and tucked it in a bit, out of the way and that's it.As far as the charging mount itself, well, I picked it for it's low profile design, and clean lines, and it doesn't disappoint. Looks great, quite stable, rotates to landscape and back as needed, no problem.The mechanism itself does it's job. I've had automatic clamping mounts before, and thought they were a little slow. Not this one, this closes almost instantly, and releases when you push the button. You can push the button on either side. Once you get used to the button's location, pressing it just becomes part of your natural motion to grab the phone.I was also worried about how difficult it would be to remove the phone after turning off the car (no power). This would have been a deal breaker for me, but thankfully not an issue- the mechanism retains some power and operates normally even when the car is off. Must be a battery in there. I don't know for how long or how many times it will open and close without being plugged in, but I did it 4 times, which is 3 more than I've needed since.Finally, I used the included USB-c cable to connect the mount, and I get Fast Wireless Charging each time I place my Samsung S23, with its fairly sturdy (2mm thick) case, in the mount.So- after about two weeks of daily use- I realized I love this charging mount, so much so that I decided to take some pics and write a review. Highly recommend.

I bought this after checking recent reviews and I really like the hook-based vent connection a lot. This type of mount is rock solid stable in my car, and charges my phone well. The phone is also grasped firmly by the arms when closed.I like the looks of it so much that I purchased a second unit for my son. When it arrived, the box lid was bowed up, all of the plastic baggies were crumpled on top, the instructions were mashed, and the plastic bits were crammed in and rubbing against each other.It was obviously a returned item. I tested the charger and it worked, and the smooth plastic surfaces were not scratched, so I repackaged it cleanly, as it is a gift. Still, that is irritating when you are buying “new”.One thing to note is that this charger does not come with any cigarette/utility plug to USB adapter. I had one to use from a previous charger, but if you don’t have one, you will need one.

The cd mount fits very snug and installation was pretty simple & easy. The auto clamping feature works great when I put my phone on the charger and holds it good as well. Overall the quality seems pretty good and durable. Keep in mind you do need to purchase a QC 3.0 car charger adapter (under $10) IF you want to have fast charging. I went ahead and bought the adapter and it does charge my phone very quickly with it. So far I have 0 issues and am happy with my purchase!

Every once in a while a device comes along that is functional and works exactly as it should. This product is so cool and fun to use. It mounts securely in my CD changer slot and does not move around, although extremely bumpy roads might require it needs a slight repositioning. The auto-clamping mechanism works perfectly and not having to connect and disconnect a power cable is very convenient. I love this product. It seems to be very sturdy and well made. I recommend!

This is probably one of the best products I got on Amazon to-date. I initially bought it as a gift for my daughter’s birthday, but after I set it up in her car I fell in love with it and knew I had to get one for myself. It does it all: steady phone and solid holder, perfect size, great wireless charger and very well built. Love it 😍🥰😍🥰. Highly recommend it!!!!

This thing is AWESOME! Exactly what I have been looking for. Great for long trips if you use your phone for GPS, and makes it easy to keep your phone charged when you get in and out.Never had an issue with the phone falling out of the cradle, it grips it just right.Charged through my case with no problems.Only problem is that almost one year later it is no longer sensing my phone very well, causing it to take longer to grip, and intermittently charging. I'll need to get it replaced, I might just buy another one of these!
