I bought these pads because they were biodegradable. My puppy immediately understood that he should go on them. It doesn't mean he hasn't had "accidents," but he knows that they are where he should go. I find the pads to be absorbent, and they seem to absorb odor. As my puppy gets older, I don't know if they'll be thick enough to absorb increasing amounts of liquid, but for now, I am very satisfied.

My cats pee leaks through every time, and wets the floor underneath. Not sure if I’m missing something? They seem to work well for others but not me!

I bought these on sale at another store. Had been using another major brand that although popular, easily available and cheap, did not control the smell and stayed wet. These on the other hand, do an amazing job. They are pretty strong and my puppy can't easily tear through them and the attractant works (better than that nasty spray I had to use for the other ones). The color hides the urine spots. The charcoal definitely neutralizes the odor. The only drawback is that it occasionally leaks and once the dog pees, it appears to lose its integrity. So if you are gone all day, if the dog pees a few times, the pad is dried out and is pretty much useless. Pee spreads over the edge... Overall much better than the white ones. and would buy again. wish it held up better, but in contrast it still is better than the average ones which is why I gave it a 4.

I really like these...they last longer than most & don't smell as much either.
