I first got these at a local shoe store and now I wear them almost exclusively during cool weather. Great cushion, comfortable, and keep your feet warm. They do not slip around. These are merino wool so definitely for cooler temperature.

The socks are really nice, and fit well/as expected [bought size large; I wear size 7.5-8 women's shoes]. A bit thinner than Smartwool running socks (with toe and heel padding), I believe. I thought the arch support/"targeted compression" would be useful. However, just trying the socks on for a moment, my sensory issue red alarm went off. [That's the only reason for 4 stars, and I'm not sure it's even the product's fault.] They're just too tight for me--I'm sensitive to even the lightest pressures anywhere on my body. I can't even wear toe socks because I feel that they cut off circulation, but will be giving those another try to prevent blisters as I walk the Camino de Santiago in a few months (Sept 2023)...

Worth the money, good fit, great for warmth and cool. Using in cold winters for outdoor pickleball. I like the height and great for temps down to 25F, lower than that I go with a little higher socks.
