We buy many of this company’s coffees, and we love to try many others we discover here on Amazon. This is an excellent coffee for those of us wanting a nice deep, rounded medium blend coffee. We consider it our “House Coffee” . Lol. We use a nice drip coffee maker, whole beans ground by us. The thing is, first thing in the morning we go through the first 2 cups ( each) in a jiffy, so drip is the way to get us there! We also use a pour over, and when camping, a percolator (don’t judge).. Blackbeard’s Revenge has always been reliable and delicious. It has a touch of chocolate and perhaps a bit of nuttiness maybe sweetness quality. Please note it is not a flavored coffee! I am not great with taste descriptions for coffee. Sorry. I can say that we have not had any issues with it being bitter or stale or having much acidity. (I save bitter for my 5:00 pm cocktail, hate it in my coffee) We have used this coffee to blend in with a few coffee-fails we have had from our exploring here on Amazon. It is kind to them and brought them up to quite drinkable and even tasty. If this review sounds like a fan letter -it is! I have been drinking it as I write this, time for another cup, in fact. If you are looking for a good all around coffee with some personality and depth, try it out!

These are decent quality beans in a good quantity at an okay price.

Good beans. Taste good. Pairs well with creamer or honey. Very hearty black. Robust flavor. Quality of the bean is good. Not oily. Medium roasted.

Okay i can say this for us coffee lovers... DROOOOLLLL!!!! I was surprised by this companies Black Knight Coffee... because i liked strong keep me awake coffee... but this was amazing and rates as a top coffee by this company. It is as the Review i put on Wicked Owl coffee as well.. the smell during perking is heavenly and an aroma that brought me back to grandpa and grandma's house in the morning on a farm. This isnt acidic at all very smooth great blend and awesome taste. I purchased this one month ago and we now only have half of a 5 pound bag left. So that should give you and idea of how good it is as we make 4 pots of coffee a day for two people 5 if company shows up. This Company has got a Very very Glad customer in me as i have reviewed a few of their coffees in the last year. I have not missed at all and love the taste. Well Done!!! I also have two others coffeees to review from them which i just brook into one 5 pound bag of tiger nebula expresso and costra rica tarrazu so those reviews up soon but you might look at the others coffees i ahve review so far.. if i have reviewed it .. i bought it and drank it and then some.

I buy this coffee alot. It's great coffee. However this is the third time the coffee bag has been punctured. I am sure it's not the delivery guy. This is occurring probably at the Amazon warehouse or during coffee packaging. It's a quality control issue. Air in a "vaccum" sealed bag degrades coffee freshness. When was this coffee roasted and packed? How long has the hole been in the bag. This is unacceptable. Fix it.
