EPOCHMen's Herringbone Wool Tweed Newsboy Ivy Cabbie Driving Cap

Second epoch hat I've purchased. It's ridiculous how nice they are. I've purchased everything from the cheapies on sale, mid priced to high priced stetsons, I even have a $300 Borsalino in my collection. I can say this hat for the money matches up really well. The wool is nice, soft and without bad stitching. The liner is nifty. The fit is exquisite.one con..the logo on the inside crown of the cap is off centered. This really doesn't matter, but drives me nuts when I look at it 🤷🏻.Whatever, solid hat great looking, and an awesome alternative to the pricey stuff without sacrificing quality

My husband is having chemo treatments and his hair has fallen and out and it is not going to grow back.He wanted this style hat but didn’t want to have to pay to much.I measured and ordered that size.I bought a brown and a black for color. He wanted a herringbone color but it was out of stock. Will probably order later.

...in various colors. But, it started with the charcoal one my girlfriend gifted me two years ago. Since then, these ivy flat caps have become iconic as I've worn them nearly every day. I honestly can't say enough great things about this product. I order the L/XL size. Every single one has fit perfectly. It's very consistent. The material is durable; I still wear my charcoal one, and it is indistinguishable from the newer ones. Little, if any, wear is evident.They are so comfortable. It feels weird to leave my house and not have one on. Some reviews here are critical of the sides of the cap 'puffing' out a bit. And I agree, they are much more full-looking compared to other caps. But, that's a selling point for me, not a detractor. The slimmer caps just look odd, cheaper compared to the Epoch brands (ironic, because many are more expensive).These are the caps to get, bar none. If I had to pick one negative, it would be that the wool is a bit too warm to wear in the summer months. Next year, I plan on buying a few of Epoch's linen flat caps to wear when it's hot. I'll give these guys a rest until fall.Hope that helped.

This is a well made, good quality hat. Nice liner and looks good as well. This will be my winter hat since I already have a light weight one I wore during the summer. My head size is 23 and a quarter inches and I got the XL (even though it falls between L and XL according to the chart), and it fits like it was custom made for me. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a stylish, good quality topper.

Had to give only 2 stars cause although the hat is very nice and good materiali don't really see the point in oicking a color if they are going to send any color they feel like when shipping I chose dark grey and got light grey. Very disappointed, since I was specifically trying to match another item of my friends wardrobe.... Only thing left to say is womp womp... 😒

The cap itself is good quality and constructed properly. However, the sweatband-- the ring of fabric which actually touches the head-- is low quality. This band is wrinkled and coarse and if worn for any period, it creates creased skin marks on the forehead. It should be a smooth, water resistant fabric that is comfortable to wear. Instead, it leaves an embarrassing line across the forehead just below the hairline.

This hat was disappointing. I'm a shaved head guy living in the Pacific Northwest, so I really like a good wool hat. This one fit awkwardly compared to similar caps that I've bought in shops in Seattle, Glasgow and Dublin, I really wanted to like it, but it just didn't work for me because of sizing and the fabric blend which absorbed water differently from other wool blends.. I did give it to my tween age daughter and loved it because she could tuck up her curly hair in it. So, I'm giving it two stars.

It is always difficult to purchase clothing online, when you are unable to see if it fits. I miscalculated on the size and got the extra large ( too big) , but it is better to be bigger than too small. Still looks good, so that's all that counts.

No cumplió con mis espectativas,la tela es buena pero esta mal hecha, las costuras checas, asimétrica... no me gustó.

A nice hat - might be a bit warm for the summer, but perfect for the winter and for a butcher's duties.
