I have a bulging L5 and been in pain for 4 months now. I've received 2 shots to my back and it didn't last long. The pain was intense enough to cause my knees to buckle. Pain pills help but not a cure. A friend of mine from work gave me this brace of his to use. I've been using it now for 3 days so far and I've have been experiencing a lot less pain. I'm using less pain pills and muscle relaxers. I would love this if I didn't have to fix it already. When I was tightening the strings I must've pulled them off the pulley system. But it was easy to open it and restring it. Now it fits even better than when I received it. If you have the money and want pain relief, I recommend this product to anyone.

I was prescribed this same back brace by Tucson Orthopaedic Institute. The only difference, the cost. I paid $476 for it at TOI. Here it is much less. I like it for this price, I don't like it for the other more expensive price.

I was given one of these by my Neurosurgeon who will be operating on me next week to fuse my lower back vertebrae. It is for after the operation, but I started wearing it yesterday. I already am experiencing marked improvement in posture and pain. Even though I didn't buy it on Amazon, I am recommending it to all my friends who have back problems which is why I checked to see if it was available on Amazon.
