They are not very long, but the strap is sturdy-- and I appreciate the reflective stripe, in the event that you are getting on toward dark, this will provide extra visibility. They address the need at a reasonable price, and that's what I was after. You may want to verify whether this design and size complies with local regulations.

I got these for my kayak that sticks out of my bed a good amount. I tied it on and by time I got back from my trip, it was ripped. I was doing freeway speeds for part of the trip...but I had hoped it would last at least more than 1 outing. It did come with 3 total, hence the 3 stars since I do have more than one to use.

Bought these for when I transport kayaks! Very durable and sturdy. They do not shred apart like other flags. Love them!
