Can hand sanitizer be used in this dispenser

The soap dispenser is a simple pump. So yes, hand sanitizer can be used place of dish or hand soap.

What is the size of the soap containing, container by the LxWxH, for a replacement needled?

The questions seem to be the same for all models. Some do have a long tube where you remove the cap from your liquid soap container, and it pumps from it. You have the same type I ordered. Mine came with a clear bottle the you fill. Since you have this model, I measured the amount of liquid it holds and it is 18oz. I'm sure they recommend filling 16oz of liquid soap without worried of overflow. TL;DR - 16 - 18 liquid ounces

Minimum diameter Counter hole? Our counter hole is just shy of 1" inch.

I know that my sink has the standard 1.378" [1 3/8"] hole and it was sufficient, but not a whole lot of play. Sorry, I did not measure the OD of the pump as it passes through the sink. I would not think an UNDER 1" in diameter hole would be sufficient. You might need to make a larger hole with a step drill bit.

What is the size, diameter of the tube? The one that comes is too soft and collaeses when you pump the soap. I want to get a ridged hose.

Flexible tube O.D. is ⅜". Some soaps may be too viscous for the pump to draw up to the dispenser head. Sounds like that is your problem. I'm using regular Ajax® liquid soap and I have no problems with collapsing or delivery.
