Hands down, the best sales resource I've come across.
I've been through it all: Sandler training, force management, Winning by design -- Jamal's approach to Mega Deals transcends complicated multi-step processes to get to the heart of Mega Deals = symbiotic value-adds for both parties involved. The approach, rigorous in structure but intuitive, enables seller of any industry to understand the value framework for these deals.As summarized near the end of the book, this resource is meant to be used as an ongoing playbook to reference. Each chapter is buzzing with anticipation, objection handling, and various tactics to propel your deal to heights never seen before (all the while telling a great story).The proof will be in the pudding as I work to incorporate various elements of the book into real-life scenarios, but Jamal has developed a resource that will reach many sales professionals. Mega Deals certainly will elevate your life professionally and personally. What stood out to me the most, however, is the intrinsic value this process will add to the enterprises. Think of the value add Disney experienced when they bought Pixar (an example in the book). This shift in thinking will elevate your deals from commoditized run-rate selling to strategic never-before-seen types of opportunities.

One of the most sophisticated books on the art of enterprise selling I have ever read!
I have read many books on sales over the years, many of which are too general and leave a lot to be desired. Jamal's work on the other hand is detailed and illustrated with colorful real world examples that you can immediately apply to your business. You can imagine yourself in the boardroom with Jamal conversing with the executives, and can feel you heart race as he and his team negotiate the final details of his Mega Deal. I will read and re-read this book to master it's content, and when it is all said and done I think this book goes down as one of the classics.

A Motivating Book that Actually Knows Software Sales in the 2020 Decade
A former director recommended this book to me. I've started my day with 15 minutes or so reading it and did not want to put it down. Jamal's ideas and way of doing business in the 2020 decade are 100% correct. It's not easy to do, of course, but his guidance is solid. The book is also designed around an actual real story of closing a large deal. Anyone in software sales can 100% relate. This is the first business/sales book I've ever actually read cover to cover.
