HALYARD FLUIDSHIELD level 3 Disposable Procedure Mask w/SO SOFT Lining/Earloops

I cannot wear an N95 mask because of sinus issues. Halyard Fluidshield are a great alternative. They are a level 3 medical grade, worn like all the other disposable paper masks you see. The difference is that these have a small strip of foam along the inside top part of the mask that helps keeps moist air from fogging glasses, and also helps keep others' air from penetrating your mask. They fold all the way under the chin. The metal nose pieces are moldable but firm, meaning that, after you manipulate them into the perfect fit for your face, they stay that way. They feel very secure all around my face but without pressing or feeling uncomfortable. And the inside fibers don't come off to tickle my skin, a problem I had with a different brand. Our workplace began offering them to employees as their preferred mask, but since they are limited supply, I ordered a case of my own. Super fast ship! They are a little pricey, but I imagine they would not have been this expensive pre-pandemic. To me it's worth the extra 12 cents per mask for the extra security (and I love that they are pale orange rather than the 'hospital-looking' blue, white or yellow.

I thought I really liked my medical face masks made in Taiwan which was regulated by the government. I liked an order of made-in-Korea face masks. Those were softer than the Taiwan masks in the inner lining. But the ear loops were too loose. These by comparison are the best face masks I have bought. Sturdy and thick, these I heard are used in hospitals. But they are also extraordinarily comfortable: soft inner lining, secure nose piece with a strip of foam I haven’t seen anywhere before, adjustable coverage for the face by opening the pleat more or less, and the ear loops are soft but not too loose. Good price for the quality too. The only thing I wish the mask could do better is in the area of packaging. The box was a little smashed and in danger of spilling out the masks which were not wrapped by any protective plastic. Overall still an amazing product! It’s certified too.

I was at my Primary Care doctor’s office the other day, and naturally, everyone was wearing a mask. I noticed they had masks available for those who didn’t have one. I asked the person behind the desk what brand mask they used and he gave me the top of the box they came in. I liked the quality of the mask, not flimsy. It was comfortable and fit my face well. I ordered three boxes, each contained 40 masks. The boxes are not sealed but since I ordered three boxes, they came in a standard Amazon carton. None of the boxes inside spilled any of the masks. I think they are a good value for the price but everyone has their own idea of what value is. In any event, they suit my purpose. I would order them again.

After going through numerous brands, many no-names that rushed to fill the shortage, we finally found these Halyards that are excellent quality. There are many cheaper masks but if you’re really buying these to wear comfortably AND to protect you, these are the ones to get. Metal band on top edge that keeps the mask close to your nose bridge for better protection. A foam pad above the band keeps the wearer comfortable through the hours that some will need to wear these and then the ear loops are wide enough to not cut into your lobes but still keep the mask close to your cheeks throughout the day. And of course the business end of the mask is a multi layer material that breathes easily while protecting you and others by keeping particles on one side of the mask. Couldn’t ask for anything better!

This is not N95 but it is close in filtration level. Much higher fabric quality than the thin blue ones found everywhere. It just doesn't seal as tightly against the face which is what makes the N95 unusable for most folks due to discomfort (and restricted airflow). The fit is as good or better than the KN95 masks and airflow is better. This is the best combination of quality and comfort I have found. They don't make Covid claims, but recognize only the uncomfortable N95 masks have some proven benefit.

This mask is used by my wife during her normal course of work. It fits comfortable, and she loves it. Thank you for keeping her safe.

Bc of auto immune issues and reactive asthma, I need a mask. This filters -it’s obvious function-judging by my ability to breathe even when the neighbor smokes outside or an inside cleaning product has fumes too strong. Great to use when cleaning dusty garages or critter-friendly sheds even if you don’t have breathing issues! Shaped well, it doesn’t sting at the corners. Easy to form-fit, I just bend to find the middle, set it to the bridge of my nose, press the top a bit against my face, and have hardly any fogging of my glasses or sunglasses.
