I read through the reviews when I was ordering. I had worried a little about the number of posts that the suspenders were too short.I'm 5'11" and weighing in at 370 lbs. I carry a lot of that weight in my belly. The el cheapo suspenders I got at a big block retailer were stretched to their limits, and every time I bent down to pick something up, the back clips would come off and fly over my head. I had seen Dickies at the same store, but only the ones that hooked up to the belt. My large belly puts much stress on belts, that's why I wanted to find suspenders, so that wasn't an option.I got these. Fears be quelled. The adjusters work just like it states in the Amazon description. Pull them up (though you might have to move them back if they are catching in the fabric) and slide to the new position, then lock down, and push the back bar flat.As for those "too small" reviews. Nonsense. The size marked is 1S (for One Size, duh). And I have about 8 inches to go on mine before they max out in length. So maybe if you are 6'7" and over 450 lbs, you "might" have an issue. Otherwise no.The clips grab well. I have not had them come off my pants or shorts unless *I* wanted to remove them. And that includes $60 in quarters (I hate laundry day.)They hold my pants up. They stay attached. They a great pair of suspenders for anyone who wants suspenders to hold their pants up.I've been rocking these guys for a month now. I'm one very satisfied customer.Thanks for listening to my review. I stated a lot of personal information because I want to be clear that I'm really putting these things through a test. And yes, I am currently working on loosing weight, and doing a good job. These suspenders make it easier to walk when I know my pants are going to stay up. :)

Wow! These are great. My fiancé wears them proudly and no more saggy butt.

Quality is great everything is wonderfully made and functions well. However, I did have trouble with the clasp/adjustment feature until I finally got some help from other reviews submitted. And for anyone reading who has difficulty- the clasp, once at optimal height, must be pushed in AND the thin rectangular loop piece that it is attached to MUST be flipped downwards in order to be properly secured. In order to do so, your finger(s) should hold the clasp down, with your thumbs pushing downwards on rectangular piece which holds the loop strap. This will then force the teeth of the clasp to "bite", thus locking the clasp in place.

These have good snap that latch tight. The material is as heavy and almost as thick as the set I use on my tool belt but soft enough to be comfortable. I'm really happy with these and would buy again in 10 years if these wear out.

I ordered these for my husband who has a few pairs of pants that slip down below his waist. He absolutely loves them! They arrived promptly. Great value! Dickie’s is a reliable, quality brand and my hubby highly recommends them.

Wanted to try Suspenders and didn’t want to spend a lot of money. These work out great

I worked at Kmart for quite a few years and we sold a lot of Dickies pants shirts belts etc. Always was very satisfied with Dickies products. However I bought the suspenders thinking they would be an excellent purchase. I have really been disappointed with these, the elastic of the straps is very poor. I think they'll be very durable, they fit okay and the length is fine not really sure if they will slip while I'm wearing them because of the material that they're made of. My biggest complaint is the elasticity. I like for my suspenders to have a little bit of give to them to make them comfortable.
