I’ve been taking this vitamin for about a year now. I won’t go with it! I’m consistently asked what I use and I have noticed a difference in skin texture! My skin glows. My husband wants to use it now. Con: I wish it was less expensive but still a great product!

I think it would work better for me , if I could afford it more often . Unfortunately a bit pricy for just a months supply.

Where do I even start? From the first day I tried these pills, I guess. I’m a tall woman of average weight (5’9”, 170 pounds) and I’m in good health. I’m not a gassy person, but the very first day I took this supplement—a prayer to Jesus couldn’t save me from the painful bloating and horrifying gas it caused. Nobody wanted to be around me. *I* didn’t want to be around me. I rationalized the reaction as just being the first day of trying something new…and took it again the next day. Y’all. I’m a substitute at my local high school and those hallways don’t smell great, but I couldn’t stop myself from taking the tangy, sweaty-teen smell to a new, lower level. Yowzah! By the end of the day, I was in a sweat trying to keep myself from dusting the classroom with a fatal gas that was coming from me but wasn’t my natural smell, you know what I mean? I know my gas—this was NOT my gas. It was like I’d been overtaken by a body snatcher that had an affinity for jalepenos and crab salad. So what did I do the next day? Well, I didn’t have to sub. So I took the supplement again. Holy. Whoa. The gas was so bad I didn’t feel hungry all day. (Hard to eat when you smell so unappetizing!) And the bloating was so bad that my only idea to try to combat it was with antacids and water—no help. My gosh, after three miserable days, you’d think I wouldn’t try taking it again the next day. Guess whose a glutton for punishment? (Me. I am.) The next two days were a cross-eyed blur of gas that could make someone hallucinate. It my was my sweet daughter who finally asked me if it was time to give up on this supplement—my family couldn’t take the daily fumigation anymore. It was this intervention that finally (finally!) made me quit. So now, I’ve got a practically full bottle of this supplement left, relegated to the forgotten outskirts of the medicine cabinet, that I might one day retrieve ONLY if my worst enemy should ever knock on my door. The point of being so point-blank with my review? Y’all need a fair warning before giving this supplement a try. Buyer’s gut: beware!

I have to say, as much as I clearly had hope or belief based on everything I read and watched about this product, I am pleasantly elated at the visible improvement. In my adult years I’ve had more skin issues than I ever had as a teen and it’s no coincidence that in the first 4 weeks of taking this supplement my skin is better than it’s been in years. Smoother, not dry, no ingrowns or blemishes. My fascislist approved of its contents and I just got my 2nd order. This ine’s a keeper!

Pro: 1. works well on skin. After 1 week of usage, my skin was glowing and received lots of compliment from people. I'm in my early 50's. 2. have lots of energy. Cons: 1. Hungry all the time; the co's website says people reported unexpected weight lost but this is not the case for me. Not doubting what other says; everyone is different. 2. If you are perimenopause or menopause and choose to use this product, make sure you get your doctor to do hormone blood test for estrodiol, regularly. I learned the hard way - having lots of high estrogen symptoms (Google it) and almost all of the symptoms were evident for me after using it for few weeks. I asked my doctor to order hormone blood test. For menopause women estrodiol should be less than 55 pg/mL. My result came out to be more than 500 pg/mL. I looked back last 3 months to see what I've done/eaten differently - it points to my usage of Activated You Skin supplment (this product). The 2 amino acids (L-lysine and L-proline) promote increase of estrogen! Right now my doctor is monitoring me with oral intake of DIM supplement to bring down my extremely high estrodiol.

Im 46. I was a little skeptical at first. But I watched the full video ad from the Nikita actress. Sorry forgot her name. It made sense and I agree that true beauty comes from the inside to out. Topicals only go so far and collagen gives me upset stomach / diarrhea. It's almost been a month. I take this pill every morning w plenty of fluids. Bottle of water, green Jasmine tea no sugar. I have def noticed a improved difference in my skins elasticity , firmness and texture.i actually see and feel it working. The only thing that is a downside is the smell. It smells like factory chemical when you open the jar and the lid was cracked in shipping( seal still on tho)

The product came quickly! I have had no negative side effects from using this product and I look forward to purchasing another order of the Essential Skin Food. I have not been using it long enough to see any difference in my skin but the fact that there were no side effects and easy to swallow is a plus for me.

I've used Skin Essentials before finding it on Amazon. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon as it made it that much more easier to order and receive. I do notice a difference using this supplement. It has good quality ingredients in it. It's not a cure all, but it will assist in keeping skin healthier. I'd recommend this supplement to others.
