The media could not be loaded.  My hair at the ends were kind of brown due to me dying my hair red two years ago, which it doesn’t matter what color I dye my hair it layers ends up brown after a few months! But when I say this dye is one of these best ones, I love it. I had to let it sit longer than the box says and I did stand outside directly in the sun so it could work faster. The only thing I recommend is PLEASE DO NOT START AT YOUR ROOTS AND MAKE YOUR WAY DOWN like the instructions tells you, my baby hairs are kind of damaged from that. Color took beautifully!

My hair is dark dark brown naturally. I used this dye and it went to dark brown. It's not even golden brown like advertised. There is no orange tint to my hair. My hair is a dark brown with a red undertone. Chance are...unless you're blonde, bleach your hair first or end up sooo sad-like me :(*update*: Ok, so this dye actually has magical powers. It looks much better in sunlight or directly under a light bulb. It's a shade or two darker than the picture, minus the highlights. Still not so golden/orange though...But in a room with regular-no lighting it's dark brown.

I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews for this product, but I loved it. Maybe my hair just takes color well, but I had no issues with my hair lightening to the honey blond color. The first picture is immediately after it was dyed; my hair was still damp so the color doesn’t show as well. The second picture is a couple weeks after; here my hair is fully dry, and you can see my natural hair color at the roots to get a better idea of how much lighter it got. Several months later and the color still holds incredibly well. This color looks beautiful in the sunlight and really pops.

This dye turned my roots orange.I regularly dye my hair red and because of this I usually apply the dye to my roots first so they have a little more time to develop, the instructions that come with this dye also say to do this. I also leave the product in my hair for five to ten minutes longer than instructions say because I find it helps the color set better, none of this has been a problem with any other dye I have used. When I went to wash this dye out, my hair was the driest it has ever been when dying it and after it dried a little I realized that the roots were orange. And I'm not talking slightly lighter red or a color that might even out when my hair dried they are ginger orange. I do not use bleach on my hair and I aim for a dark red when I dye it, not ginger. I was super happy during the dying process because this dye went on super easy smelled amazing and clean up was a breeze, it didn't stain anything. But I have never had a dye do this to my hair and I won't be purchasing this brand ever again.

I was worried at first but the color came out amazing. I have black hair and have been trying to go brown for years with no success this is the first time a hair color successfully worked for me. It's my new Go-to color.
